Life

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

If life were a FPS, it would probably be something like Half-life. you know; with alien species and Government operatives attacking you at every turn.

If life were an FPS...

People would routinely strafe around objects in their way rather than simply walking around them.

Every time you saw your cars reflection in the bumper on the car ahead of you, you would be reminded of just how awesome your video card is.

Rather than getting a step-ladder, you would just crouch-jump onto tall objects.

Soldiers would be able to carry up to ten guns without being slowed down, and each one would have a special alt-fire attack.

They would also circle-strafe during fights.

And bunny-hop.

Old people would rocket jump to reach things up high on shelves in stores.

Music coming from nowhere would play whenever you accomplish something.

Ten-year-olds would be commonly found in anti-terror units, and have more confirmed kills than a veteran.

World War II would have been won by the Allies transmitting the Axis documents on mptest.

Aimhacking would be a capital offense.

Codec distortion and static would occur whenever someone spoke.

When people die, they would violently vibrate back and forth for about sixty seconds before a death animation plays, and the body promptly disolves into the ground.

Parents who's children go go on shooting sprees would have nothing to blame it on.

if life were a game there were no losers (no offense meant) and the amount of cheating would be quadruled with a force ten (sex or otherwise)

but if life were a game I would want to be in a game like postal 2
( not that I'm a serial-killer in the making) but just to react extremely to your environment every day of the week would be just drop-dead-gorgious

Most. Some, I had inspiration from elsewhere

What do you mean IF life was a game? Life IS a game. And a very realistic one too

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

Post Thu Jul 03, 2003 12:06 pm

very realistic, but not totally.if life was FPS, i'd go into hospital diagnosed with acute FPS phoebia that has the symptoms of being insanely dizzy.
yup, i h8 FPS with my guts.

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

Yeah, but when you go to hospital in FPS land there are no doctors, just row upon row of health pick-ups

If Life was a FPS it would be slagged off by crittics, bought by the small fat kids, left in a draw until it was worthless then a large man called George Oswald Davies would reserect it and turn it in to a huge online experiance and to allow that to be possible a new protocal would be created call J.E.S.U.S, and insturuction manual sent to every reistered user called a Big indespensible book loads'a explinations.

hehehehe.

Religion i do like to mock it

Post Sat Jul 05, 2003 10:57 pm

Please?

I didn't even have to ask nicely. It is not a convention of this forum's visitors. It's one of the Prime Directives () of TLR. I ask you nicely this time, but keep in mind for your own good in the future: keep this kind of attitude, and you're risking a ban.
