Gymnastics help?
Does anyone here do gymnastics? More specifically on the gymnastic rings?
I have no formal training but since I was a kid we have had a homemade swing on an oak tree with gymnastic rings attached higher up, the swing section is detachable. I still use the rings for excercising, but recently I've been trying to progress a bit further, I'm trying to do "muscling up" (where you pull yourself up from underneath to a point where you are holding the rings with your hands by your waist),but I don't know how to get through the transitional stage. I can happily pull myslef up from underneath, and I know I can hold myself when I'm up there, even lowering myself so my arms are at 90 degrees, I just cant figure out how to get between those two sections without murdering my shoulders!
