War Zone

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

War Zone

Well today was hell of the school lunch. There were 9 fights in total, one after another. God you should have seen security guards running around trying to stop them. At the end of the lunch all of the guards were breathless. This is allot of fights but in 1995 there were 13 fights during one lunch period, so far this is still the record.

What are the fight records in your school?

At my old high school, the number of fights have decreased steadily to 0 per year. Those are just the full blown "meet me behind the church after school" fights cuz I still saw some cat fights in the hallway.....lots of hair pulling. Rawr!

we had exactly 1 serious fight the entire time i was in high school, it was the last day of my final year and one guy from the standard below us decided to pick a fight, we beat the hell out of him and he got suspended. Damn that was fun

There was 1 serious, massive fight about 2 years ago... After Red Star lost to Vojvodina (3:1 for Vojvodina) the pissed off Red Star fans rushed into our school, and started making a mess... There were about 15 of them, but there was about 40 of us... We beat the living crap out of them.

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

What, Red Star lost to Vojvodina, that is not right, how could they lose...

Anyway I miss Serbian rumble (it has been long time since I was in one), and that fight sounds interesting, 15 against 40-nice odds , too bad I could not see it.

I've only had one fight my entire life (!) and that was barely even a fight. I believe I was in my high school years. Some guy decided to pick a fight. I got the first punch; hit the kid right in the jaw. He fell over, bleeding, and that was that. He ran off. Haven't had another fight since.

That was (almost) nothing... The real war zone took place 4 days ago.
The place: Mileticev Trg(The Svetozar Miletic Square), Novi Sad.
The Time: 18:00 CET
The Why: Victory over Croatia in the European Waterpollo Championship Finals
Stats: Around 800 people thrashing everything in sight in a 200 meter radius. Something like 200 policeman battering the mob, and shooting rubber bullets.
It lasted for about 2 hours during which the material damage reached $20.000, There were no human casualties, but there were about 15 people with severe injuries, and about 50 people with light injuries... Now THAT's a warzone!

i nvr had to pick fights.. english superiority gave me word advantage. back then, i was kinda small.. so didn't fancy my chances against the overweight guys glaring at me. but then again.. brains are stronger than brawn.. i hope to try out the brawn bit some time.. then again, maybe not.

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

In face-to-face, one-on-one confrontation, and without any strategical/logistical terrain advantages (bricks, 2x4s, various trees and poisonous plants, rocks, sand...) brawl conquers brains. Sad but true. The "Cuban Fight" is the most respected form of physical debate -- opponents face each other and then punch each other one at a time, without interference from the other one (or anyone else) until one of them drops. I myself haven't been in a decent one-on-one for about 3 and a half years...

My school's pretty lax I guess, it's a grammar school so its full of nerds
I'm pretty big 6'3 and about 200 lbs , so generally, people leave me alone. Last time I was in a major fight, I was assaulted in broad daylight in my local high street by two guys. I floored one with a rugby tackle but the other started to kick me in the head and neck. So I protected myself the same way I do in rugby. They both stomped, jumped and kicked me in the head, neck and chest. Apparently it was one of the most vicious attacks some people had ever seen, no one really helped just screamed at them. I was lucky because I knew how to protect myself, I didn't even get bruised!!!

Cuban fight. LOL. That's got to be the most brainless action anyone could take. I, too, am a fairly big guy, and that alone is enough to keep me safe (most of the time). Other times, I just outsmart the guy, and make 'im look like a complete moron in front of all his friends/punk friends. That will usually get him to shut up. The nagain, sometimes (or rather, that one time) I actually have to use physical force.

We had one security guard at our high school. :p He didnt really do anything cept drink coffee and sit around in his small office near the pop machines.

Post Sun Jun 22, 2003 12:42 pm

I had 2-3 security guards in my old highschool. One of them was supposed to had been on a UN peacekeeping mission during his army days. Regardless all of them are too old and friendly to do anything, really. Besides my school was peaceful. All they did was drink coffee, unlock gate in the morning and lock gate in the evening.

I couldn't really fathom why someone would go to school that obligates you to pass through a metal detector.

I had no sec. guard at my old school

but I never actually gotten into a fight. yeah I punched a few but they all decided to leave me alone seeing as my length and weight (1,87 mtrs/6' 3" and 85 kg.) would overpowered them in a minute
