TOTAL U.S. ARMED FORCES RANK

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

Yup definitely......

oh the irony!!
Sorry, I won't do that again

I was just about to click this topic when I noticed the lowest rank is newbie?!? Have they seriously replaced the word recruit with newbie? Certainly doesn't sound like something any armed force would do, Patton would have a fit if he saw that.

Of course they don't use the rank ' newbie'.....Lord of Sunsystem is just trying to get a rise out of us

So please click it Mustie (or any mod for that matter) !

The ranks are messed up. For instance, the Navy uses recruit for those just entering the Navy(enlisted boot camp) not newbie. All warrant officers are commisioned. So no need to say 'commisioned' warrant officers. The rank of commodore is in name only. All commodores carry the rank of captain(O-6). There is no seaman 1st class or 2nd class. They are seaman recruit, seaman apprentice and seaman. The poster must've been bored.

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

Moving off topic again.... In a 9 episode series about the Civil War by Ken Burns, a very very good documentary, I believe it said that he wasn't actually given that name, but on some sort of paperwork done by someone else his name was labeled as Ulysses. Instead of trying to change it, he lived with it, as the documentary said. I'm not exactly sure what it was or if that is the exact story, but it's something similar to that.
