New PS

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Yesterday or Sunday, not sure, on TechTV they mentioned new PS coming out. It will be PSX and will have whole bunch of stuff- Tivo, DVD player and recorder and whole bunch of other stuff. And of course better graphics.

God cant wait till it comes.

April Fools was a while back.

But if it isn't an April Fools joke, it must be a crazy rumor.

If it isn't a rumor, then it will be extremely expensive and no one would buy it except for the few faithful.

Its no april fool or rumor they showed it on TV. It is color of PS1 and it looks kind of big. Sad part is it will probably be expensive.

Even if it was expensive DVD player, Tivo and other stuff would be 2 times the price if you are to buy it separately.

Actually, the reports of the PSX are not an April Fools joke. There are concept designs and even a model of what it'll look like. As for the TiVo thing...it's not really TiVo, it's just something that does the same thing. Also, it is supposed to have a built in 120 GB HDD. However, because it is pretty much built around the PS2, there will be no enhanced graphics on it. Unfortunately, there is no scheduled release date for it yet (even in Japan). And seeing as how whatever gets released in Japan takes about a year or so to make it over to the States (where I am) chances are that we'll be seeing the PS3 before we see the PSX. Even more of a bummer would be the fact that since DVD-R are still fairly pricey (upwards of 400-600 USD) the console would be a tad bit out of my price range. That being said, the friggin thing does look might nice. Cheers.
