I think I watch too much Star Trek...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well...Star Wars has the Force, which is good...but Star Trek have a captain who looks like Mr Clean (Picard) and one who sounds like Pinky or Perky (Janeway)...it's a close-run thing, but I think Chewy clinches it for Star Wars, simply because we have a maths teacher called Mr Chewbacca. If you don't know the answer, just say "No, that's not it...fetch me the hypo-spanners" or "Muuuuuaaaaaarrrrrrrrr"...heh heh heh *is glad he dropped maths two years ago*

hmmmm, I remember reading a comparison about Star Trek and Star Wars, the thing that sticks most was:

When evading trouble star trek captains go to warp, Hans Solo just floors it!!

Must admit it did bring a smile

if you had chewbacca as a teacher, he gets angry, no more arms, simple and effective way of keeping the students inline

I like the Chewbacca argument used by that Lawer in South Park

there is no comparison between the two

they are both fantasy and they are so different

I was making a test the other and I was hoping for something like this:

Me: "OMG, I don't know the answer!"
Little voice in my ear: "Vinnie, I have the answer, details on your OPSAT!"

Star Trek vs Star Wars threads are pointless, I love them both and most Sci-Fi fans do too

I dont see the point in arguing either, I watch startreck when eating and star wars when going to the movies.

Star Trek is better because it has Seven of Nine AND a Holodeck. *Homer Simpson style* Mmmmm.... Seven of Nine....

Although I can think of a far better use for a holodeck. I remember Riker used the holodeck to watch girls playing harp. PLAYING HARP?! wtf?

and I wonder, if the holodeck's safety protocol is off, can you catch STD after a "creative" use of the holodeck?

Trust you to think of that FF
