I think I watch too much Star Trek...
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I saw a news headlin "Bird of Prey downs fighter jet" on ABC.net and immediately thought of the Klingons! then I actually realized that a bird of prey was sucked into the engine and caused failure. What a disappointment . Has similar experience happened to you?
Yes, every time I see a Ford Prefect (which is rare these days...) - anyone else remember THHGTTG?
"Cardamine: a brief-acting psychotropic drug, the effects of which are akin to sliding two distorting lenses in front of your eyes, placing your head in a swimming pool and shoving a chemical factory up your nose in a shifting gravity field..."

Ah...Ford Prefect. The friend of the former president of the universe Zaphod Beeblebrox(spel?). I could be wrong as to the profession of Zaphod (it's been a while since I last read it). Hm...would be kinda cool to actually go to the restaraunt at the end of the universe, though. It would definitely settle a few questions that I have concerning the ultimate fate of time, the universe, and everything. Wow, for some reason I feel like going back and re-reading Dirk Gently's Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul. Cheers.
In that case we will _all_ be assimilated, and resistance truly _is_ futile...

you definitely got too much star trek in you.. personally, (and i mean personally) IMO, i feel that star wars and star treks are just a movie series of ppl trying to make money out of bad masks.
Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.
therefore,
The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.
Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

Back on topic i know i used to think a bit like a jedi knight (too many pc games), y'know:
*thinks to self* "why should i get up, i'm sure i can force pull that remote control back to me!!"

Eat a third and drink a third and leave the remaining third of your stomach empty.
Then, when you get angry, there will be sufficient room for your rage.

i program FAR too much:
y'know when you wake up in the morning and your having a really involved dream where mad **** is happening and your not sure if your awake or still dreaming and theres a disorientation part that lasts about a minute while your brain sorts out whats what.
So this morning i wake up...VERY tired cause i didnt get to sleep til 4 or something nuts like that. Anyway, i open my eyes, they hurt so i close them. Problem was, i had a dream where i was programming a box and i fell in. the box accidentally closed and i had no way out and so spent the whole dream fighting nasties in the box and coding a way out of the box. when i got to the box opening, the eyes came open, so for about 5 minutes of the morning my brain was convining me i was still asleep. so when my brother comes into my room and rags on at me to play some battlefield 1942 i start talking some UTTER bollocks about programming, and the like, confusing him and my mum who was out in the corridor. i cant remember what i said and they didnt understand it so now i have no idea what happened..still, i think i wont goto bed after a heavy coding session anymore.

Gowserpaul,
Alot of intelligent men (including me) have been (and still are) figuring out which one is the best. We came to the conclusion that it's a matter of taste.
So the score:
Star Wars vs. Star Trek = undecided.
/me feels good because he prevented a flame war
-- Gamer Heaven, where the screenshots are never blurry, and the script kiddies get publically kicked around. -#reallife
Join the army against the Chaos
An offer you cannot refuse
