If you live in the US, just go to any Electronics Beautique (E, Gamestop, or Software Etc... They usually carry a couple of copies. I do know that Sierra is releasing their "Greatest Hits" repackaged games now (er...at least at my local Best Buy). If you live outside of the US...try Amazon or any other software retailer. Cheers.

I'm not sure. 90% of game here in malaysia are pirated copies, sold in shop. Recently there had been a major crakcdown nationwide on pirate cd and stuff (but not dvd...stupid government) so I have no access to whatever game out there for the moment...

i was hoping unrpo would shed some light on catalysm.. and i heard about a couple of shakeups.. but hey.. if they are really dedicated, i can tell you, m'sia would be devoid of pirated copies. and no, its not 90%.. prolly 99% i even tried looking for original copies some day.. and never found a single shop.
and yup.. i'm gonna grab hw 2 when it comes out. the only bad thing is that hw for homeworld also stands for homework.

Ah, I play Homeworld: Cataclysm alot, chances of finding a retail copy are slim to none at this point (I found mine in a Compusa bargain bin for 6 bucks) so your chances are same as mine, check the bargain bins, by the way, you might also want to check Electronics Boutique (they may have a used copy, or a new copy somewhere) and yes, you can download it, your best bet is a P2P software such as Kazaa or Newsbin but to warn you, these are illegal copies, and they usually arent even copies, typically more like viruses or trojans, so i strongly suggest getting the actual software rather than a download. In any case, I still love the game and still occasionally play it, quite fun still.
