Sorry, I haven't covered that stuff yet and I'm doing double maths A-level (admittedly i'm in my first year), then again i probably nodded off while it was being explained.
I tell you what, the exams here (England) are ridiculous, you get your Key Stage 1 (KS1)at the age of 6 or 7
KS2 at the age of 11, you also have entrance exams for high school (v important if you wanna go to a good grammar)
KS3 at 14
KS4 (aka GCSEs) at 16
AS levels at 17
A2 levels at 18
then you got Uni and depending on what you do it can be a hell of a lot worse
oh and when you don't get govt. exams you'll still get the end of year ones which will dictate which sets you're educated in the following year (your sets can dictate what subjects you take later on)
Still I hear Japan is one of the worst, testing kids for entrance to nurseries?!
