I need math help!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

he is not american he is dutch

and here in holland it depends from your level of education

if you take VBO which tranlates: advanced proffesional education (this doesn't exist anymore) it takes 4 year

but seeing the math he is doing I would rather guess he is HAVO (highergeneral advanced education)

or VWO (advanced scientific education)

Sorry, I haven't covered that stuff yet and I'm doing double maths A-level (admittedly i'm in my first year), then again i probably nodded off while it was being explained.
I tell you what, the exams here (England) are ridiculous, you get your Key Stage 1 (KS1)at the age of 6 or 7
KS2 at the age of 11, you also have entrance exams for high school (v important if you wanna go to a good grammar)
KS3 at 14
KS4 (aka GCSEs) at 16
AS levels at 17
A2 levels at 18
then you got Uni and depending on what you do it can be a hell of a lot worse
oh and when you don't get govt. exams you'll still get the end of year ones which will dictate which sets you're educated in the following year (your sets can dictate what subjects you take later on)
Still I hear Japan is one of the worst, testing kids for entrance to nurseries?!

i seen that formula in my maths text book... well, a similar one at least.
i found the equation of a cubic equation.. it goes like this;
x = {[(p/3)^3 + (q/2)^2^1/2 + (q/2)}^1/3 - {[(p/3)^3 + (q/2)^2^1/2 - q/2}^1/3
whereby x^3 + px = q
kinda complicated.. but even more so to recreate it into this type..

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.
