The TNT2 cards are more than 5 years old now, same generation as the Voodoo 2. What did you expect?

Heheh, I have a TNT2 Ultra and it runs fine but my friend has a TNT2 M64 on his older computer and yah, I have a pretty good idea of how terrible it runs.

I was using one of those..

works great...even nfs5 runs fast on it...

but now I have upgraded to geforce 2 (which is roughly 4 times faster)

now if only I can find a pentium II, 1 ghz (cause I'm using pIII 600)

i'm running on a Geforce2 mx 400 64mb.. supposed to be good.. but for some weird reason.. freelancer lags on it. whenever 20 bastards jump in at my decked eagle, the thing just stops for a while.. and starts to adapt to 'altered' environments.. otherwise, it just lags when i first start to fly after launching. anyone know why ?

Thats because MX's are budget cards! MX's suck. Good Geforce 2's are Pro or Ultra or Ti. Geforce 4 MX's suck. Geforce 3 Ti's are better than Geforce 4 MX's.

Yep. Nvidia ought to be ashamed for making these. It's basically an upgraded Geforce 2 - I would get something like a Radeon 9000 something instead if you're on the cheap.

I have a Geforce 4 MX 420, it's always done everything I asked it to. Hey, it came with the computer.

I think 5 years later you are all going to say Radeon 900000 sucks like crazy because it is so slow it can't run anything..

No its NOT! it depends on the BOARD manufacturers.. if youre using a famed boadr manufacturers you get avery good card I have 2 TNT2 Cards but 1 of them really suck and the other 1 is really great.. dont judge the card by its driver... judge it by its manufacturer...
