Does anyone in this forum wakeboard? Thats all I do in the summer, just catching monster air behind my tige. Life is good. So if you can wakeboard tell me what you can do... Im not the best I can do a 360, a tantrum (backflip). and loads of grabs, and of course the bunny hop 180...
I saw it once, it looks cool!
It's expensive right?

lol, OK I will give you guys the run down on this. First of you ride on a wakeboard. Its a little smaller then a snow board and a little fatter, and theres bindings on it. And you get pulled behind a boat. You then jump the wake of the boat, depending the size of the wake you can get real high in the air. You can do all sorts of tricks like a backflip and a 360.
And to the expensive part yes it can be if you make it... A good board runs about $400 good bindings about $300... Then for the boat my preference the 22 foot Tige, with taps, runs about $55,000... Then a good rope and handle about $150, gloves aboue $50 dollars... Ripping into a monster wake 20 feet in the air priceless
But I prefer to have everybody else buy the stuff and have them let me use it. Since they are at my cabin... So alls I have to put in is gas money about $1.40 a gallon
here check out some of the pics from some local boarders in my area it will help ya see what its about!

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.
therefore,
The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.
Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

Now that all depends sometimes it hurts and somtimes it doesn't. Really depends on how long you hold onto the rope. Face plants never feel too good. Worse could happen, this has never happened to me but people have cut there heads open on the board. The worse thats happened to me is I gave myself a concussion. Other then that it doesnt hurt to much. Its so much fun you should give it a try! ANymore questions about it just ask!
