I know it''s stupid...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

You mean, a nick in addition to the one he chose? Sounds like a good idea for a new thread, 'cause a lot of folks in TLR may decide they could create a nick for their fellow co-forumers Me like that.
Your version of the nick sounds appropriate (wonder what Cpbuja thinks of it), though somewhat long. Anyway, at present, I can't think of anything better.

-2... you had me, then ya lost me. At first I was amused by your hatred of bounty hunters... then put off by it... then after the (EXTREAMLY paraphrased) "Americans are stupid" comment about the "factual poll" (a contradiction, IMO)... then the sig explaination... I'm just not feelin' the LOOOOOOOOOOVE.... and I STILL don't know how to pronounce your name.

Post Tue May 27, 2003 10:32 pm

Another one in the "red" zone... Ironic, isn't it? (red -- get it?)
Look, I DO NOT have anything against the American people. If it's about that political joke... It's a joke from Milosevich's reign of Socialism/Subcomunism; our former (hated by young, loved by the old) president didn't like America or democracy too much...
It's funny as long as you don't take it seriously...
As for the pronounciation, just read it as "Serbia".
I still hate the Bounty Hunters.
here's another joke (inspired by that Dante's test):
Two men ended up in Hell. Since they're from Europe, they get to choose in which part of Hell they wish to spend the eternity -- Eastern or Western.
In the West part you are forced to eat a tablespoon of sh*t every morning.
In the East part you have 8 hours to eat a bucket of sh*t.
One of them chose the East, the other chose the West.
After the decision, they agreed that they should meet in a month, just to see how the other one doing...
One month passed...
West: So how was it?
East:You first.
West: Well, every morning we form a line, and each of us receives our daily rations... One tablespoon... Not too bad. How about you?
East: Well... Sometimes there is a shortage of buckets, sometimes there's a shortage of sh*t, and sometimes the drivers that deliver the stuff are on strike... I haven't even tasted it yet. (I'm gonna burn for this one...)

Funny joke dude. The contrasts between social democracy and communism.

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

when you say TLR I hope to god you dont mean that MTV show with carson daly!

Well, it was really more this bit:

"Probably derived from the (survey-obtained) fact that many Americans do not know all of the States, let alone where (and what) is Serbia, for example, or where exactly is Iraq..."
*grumble*
surveys are BS... you have to wonder how many of those answers were "I don't know" PURELY to get the a-hole off their back. Then there's the wording of the questions, the people asked... if you ask 100 bums on the street about homeless shelters, and get 100 votes for more homeless shelters, does that mean the US unanimously wants more homeless shelters? I think not! Combine that w/ my personal gripe w/ "Don't get offended" comments about potentially offensive materials... it's not the joke, it's the idea of being TOLD to not get offended... if you wanna say something, just say it... F' em if they get offended... if you're worried about it, don't do it! In any event, it's my hang-up... my problem... don't sweat it.

However, in light of this new evidence, your handling of the situation, and my own fickle nature, I'll go with a 0... neutral. Being in a better mood today, I find your hatred of bounty hunters amusing again (I have no leanings when it comes to bounty hunters myself), though I'm still pensive about "Serbia Kills"... like, what if I wanted to visit? I'd much rather have a Coke, then a gun in my mouth.

Note, I haven't been around much, so I'm basing this all off of about 4 threads.

Post Wed May 28, 2003 2:57 pm

I didn't say that I trusted the survey, nor did I say I like suveys -- I think they're stupid.
The joke was also about the survey itself.
The "don't get offended" thingy is there to show that the previous few sentances aren't my personal opinion, just something that I want others to see.
I still hate the Bounty Hunters, regardless of what anyone thinks.
It's a good thing you based your opinion on 4 posts. If you read my science/smartass posts, I think that my rep would be about -1298

Damn, I'm good at hacking my Rep-record sheet...

Oh, I forgot...
About the "Cpbuja ybuja", it's a result of two facts:
1. Serbia still isn't ready to call itself a normal country ( "Sad but True" )
2. My username/callsign (elsewhere) used to be "The RavAgeR". It is now Cpbuja which is a simulated cyrilic for Srbija, which is Serbia in Serbian (and Croatian...)
Maybe I should go back to my old username...?

Looks like you started quite a mess here, Cpbuja
BTW, I'm surprised that I knew this anecdote about the s**t thing (only that I heard it in Russian) - it seems we have more things in common than I thought I think many anecdotes in your country are the same as in mine - common legacy, so to speak. Some of them are really cool, but pity they wouldn't sound as funny in English. Besides, in many cases you just need to know the context.

Ha! A perfect 10... Although I think there's more to it than just funny posts...
The Eagle is nesting, and I don't want to disturb it...
Seriously, I agree that it was a bit too big, and I also think that it's too 'stiff', or 'serious'... The new sig is somewhat warmer, cute even (Ajim's opinion).
The Eagle leaves an impression of looking down on people... you know... It's too 'proud'... If you really like it that much, feel free to use it, I certanly wont mind.

@Cpbuja, imagine what'd happen if you signed in on 9/11 day..

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

I'd say about an 8...and a half. Because you're the closest one here to another Bulgarian.
