Sim Hot Date is a stupid game

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Sim Hot Date is a stupid game

Everytime my brother install this thing, lots of program like FLMM, freelancer, and those database whatever and other nice things like fraps just stop working..

I have to reinstall my window to make everything work again (restore point don't work..)

why do people make games that destroy other games?

Post Tue May 20, 2003 12:03 pm

It's not that they stop other games working, it's that those games refuse to share hard drive space with a game of such low calibre. Let's face it, if you were a program would you share hard drive space with Sims Hot Date? I know I wouldn't.

I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

"Sim Hot Date is a stupid game " talk about stating the obvious!!
How many expansion packs have they made for that game just so you can tell a character on your PC when to crap and who to date? YAWN..........
Sorry, but I think you started to lose out the moment your brother brought the thing into your house

The Sims seems so pointless to me there is very little in that game that i don't do in real life, I did like building the house but other than that .......

Post Tue May 20, 2003 8:02 pm

the sims is a nie game but that's for everyone to decide for him/herself
I for one like it (not love it I play more R6:RS and FL)

I think your other programs commited suicide when Hot Date got installed. Seriously, sounds to me like it overwrites a system file or something, that the other programs rely on. Shoddy engineering on Maxis' end.

Best selling game, from Maxis pint of view..

just found out there's only like 5 games of this type. And this is the newest in the market. Of course it sells a lot, COMPARED to other game that maxis sells...

why can't people just live with a REAL girlfriend.. (the one that sort of goes 'oohh' and 'aahh' during those intimate moment)

I don't like the Sims myself, but I managed to convince one of my friends that there is going to be a Sims: Serial Killer expansion pack.

Yes, this IS spam...

The Sims: A List
----------------------
The Sims Original
Livin' Large
House Party
Hot Date
Vacation
Unleashed
Super Star

Other Sims:
The Sims (Gamecube and PS2)
The Sims Online
The Sims Deluxe (Original and Livin' Large)
The Sims 2 (just annonced)

Ok, now, do the math...
about 50 dollars for the original or deluxe
about 20/30 dollars per expansion pack
50 dollars for the GC and PS2 versions
about 50 dollars for The Sims Online, plus the 10 dollar a month fee

So, the question is... Do you have the wallet to be a Sims fan?
