" I''ve " = " ive"?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

i'm Chinese.in my grammer book you can't write i've as ive.
what does screw mean?

Post Wed May 21, 2003 7:29 am

On the internet, we sometimes make words shorter.ive for example. Or, as you find on the site I gave, whole sentances.

A screw is something you use when your making stuff with your hands (tables, chairs).
To screw is not nice.

What do you mean "to screw is not nice" ?
It's very nice to screw, but it's not very nice to tell someone to screw themselves.

Barbarian, I've is correct, ive is not. You are entirely correct.... However, english speakers, either because they type too fast or are too lazy, tend to shorten words as they type. For example, most people are too lazy to reach their finger over to press the ' key so they just skip it. Same with capital letters.
And they do it with other words as well...
These are the most common:
b4 = before
probly = probably
IMO = In My Opinion
nm = never mind
LMAO = Laugh My Ass Off
IRL = In Real Life
LOL = Lots of Laughs
ive = I've
kinda = kind of
sorta = sort of
It's a bit like the difference between traditional and simplified Chinese characters... They mean the same thing but they are just easier to remember and quicker to write or type.

The following statement is FALSE:
The Previous Statement is True.

ne1 = anyone
i seen loads more..there's virtually another entire language for it.. for me, i jst lv t vwls lk tht. (just leave out vowels like that) but its hard to know what it is.

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.
