What was the worst day of your life and why?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Went to watch X Men

Cost RM 5 to book the ticket for two
Cost RM 5 for the parking

Show cancelled, tickets refunded....
2 hours of waiting for nothing....

I would rather spend RM8 for a ripped of DVD of x Men, and about RM300 for cheap ol DVD player. At least there's a peace of mind that the show won't be cancelled
In a perfect world, prices should go down. Piracy contributes to this trend..
Long live piracy

My dad bought a car for me and my sister to share. I was driving along and I got pulled over for passing some old fart who was going 15mph. It was a dumb thing to do, I thought I could get away with it because there was a dotted line on the street, but that excuse doesn't work in town. Anyway the cop asked for my registration and when I opened up the glove box it wasn't there because the guy who sold us the car still had it so he could fill out some paperwork. Then the cop asked for my proof of insurance and my card was expired. He gave me a ticket for $700. I probably would have been arrested if my mom wasn't at home because the police called her to ask if I had permission to drive the car. That day sucked pretty bad.

A few weeks later I went to traffic court and pled my case. The judge was pretty understanding. I told him that I didn't know I didn't have the registration, and I told him that my insurance card expired while I was at college and that I still had coverage just not the new card. There wasn't a way to weasel out of the illegal passing so I had to fork out $47, quite a bargain.

Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

Hmmmm, got a few mostly family stuff.
Like the time I was going through a rough patch with my Dad, and then one day he came to talk to me quietly. He explained how much it was upsetting my mother and jeopardising their marriage, that scared me a lot, I try to avoid any confrontation with my father now.
Then there was the day I was about to go to Scout camp when I was about 14 and on the way i was taken to see my grandmother as she was so ill she might not have been there when I came back.
Then there was the whole year where an uncle and two family pets died within 4 months of each other

On a slightly less serious note, there was the time I was arrested last year at the Queens Jubilee in London. I have a certain anarchistic friend who wanted me to come see the stuff he'd been doing and join him for a "roving street party".
It sounded harmless so i went along. To cut it short there was a monumental cock-up with the organisers and it ended with me being detained with about 20 others on a city street for 2 hours, then getting arrested, being put on the police prison bus, before being set free due to the fact i was a minor at that time.
The funniest thing was, my offence was bogus "an arrest to prevent a breach of peace". Whta the hell does that mean? Can a police officer walk up to someone and arrest them "to prevent that person from assaulting that other random person across the road"? Worse still a few friends were arrested despite being minors, but then when it came to their time to be released, they were not allowed to leave until their parents arrived due to them being minors!!

EDIT: 14 including your edit KimK, 50 points please
btw, don't worry about being skinny, i used to be a bean pole myself, now I'm 6"4 and 14 stone

My worst day was about 9 weeks ago. Some of you may know and some of you may not, but my wife is pregnant (first baby). 9 weeks ago she was 14 weeks preganant (so now she is 23 weeks pregnant) and suddenly she began loosing blood...of course we were very scared (she already experienced a miscarriage before) and so we went to the hospital as quickly as we could for an ultrasound to see what was going. We got there and they performed the ultrasound and I saw nothing move.....no heartbeat, no moving arms or legs, nothing....
The woman who performed the ultrasound told us the bad news...your child is deceased. My life flashed before my eyes and my heart just broke...

After a while in a reflex, she hit a button and our child moved and I saw a heartbeat !!! What happened ? the woman forgot to switch on the machine and told us our child was deceased, while nothing was wrong and it was alive and kicking ! All she could say was " Ooops, I'm really sorry about that " I should probably sue her ass for this huge medical error, but at the time I was way to happy to see my child alive and well

So, that was clearly the worst day of my life !!

Whoa, you should kick the nurse and then hug her, for the bad and good news

It's gonna be fine. You'll have healthy, and (hopefully) white kids j/k

The bleeding was nothing (it happens to more pregnant women). During a pregnancy everything is more delicate, so even with the slightest wrong movement it can begin to bleed. Nothing to worry about and everything goes fine right now
