hey!! where's your sense of adventure, I mountain bike myself, its like your own natural drug fix mixing endorphins and andrenalin!!
Last October I went to South Wales and among other places rode Cwm Carn, the end section involves sharp singletrack with a 300m descent on one side with a gradient of about 5 feet down for every foot along. If you screw up there you fall a long, long way hitting tree stumps as you go!! B-)
I also used to dirt jump but my bike started to get too knackered and I found i was cr@p at it (two major crashes indicated that one )
Its all part of the fun, go out and try something dangerous!!

Yeah, something dangerous... Like telling Mike Tyson to go f*** himself...
That way you can mix adrenalin with plaster and corrective surgery for your newly redecorated ears...

Speaking of Stupid stunts, I heard that this bloke in the UK, attempted to jump from a 5 Storey Building into a Swimming Pool. He missed the pool, and ended up with a Massvie indent on the top of his head and Sever Brain Damage.

c'mon guys, where's your sense of fun? As the proud owner of a Y chromosome I do it as much justice as possible in a long series of stupid stunts.
Think about it, why are girls so sensible? they have two X-chromosomes that keep them from doing this kinda stupid stuff. Meanwhile, us blokes, only have one X-chromosome and also a Y chromosome, which is obviously the gene for stupidity. It makes perfect evolutionary sense, women take a lot longer in terms of their involvement in the reproductive cycle, meanwhile men can "do their bit" with little in the way to stop them from continuing (we dont get pregnant). To reduce the number of surplus males using up resources such as food etc, mother nature has helpfully included the Y-chromosome which makes us pretty stupid, especially when trying to show off to atract girls, so that we inadvertantly kill ourselves from time to time (if you don't believe me check out the Darwin Awards and compare the male/female ratio)
This also accelerates survival of the fittest seeing as only the males who survive their own stupidity live to reproduce!!
So go out and do whats in your nature and perhaps use your personal right as a male and try to jump that ridiculous gap, try to climb that insanely tall tree/building and try out that "fireswing" idea that you had!!

**Disclaimer - don't listen to me too much, i'm having a bit of a rant here defending my choice to live life to the max, that doesn't mean that you should try jumping out of that multi storey carpark to imitate daredevil (believe me, that one DOES break backs). Oh and BTW don't use that for your biology coursework on evolution, its a sure fire way to an F-!!

Why, partly because of the y chromosone im sure, BUT mostly because men occasionally have to wear bow ties! yep those things choke you to death and you dont even know it! o well. It'll all even up. Those girls are into tight shirts,pants, shorts, skirts, anything else. Their time is coming...

Aha! So, we're now on the male/female topic. IMHO, men live shorter because women just wear their nervous system down
