Best _DOS_ Game Of All Time

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

My family bought a computer with a cd-rom for the 1st time, and we got a couple of cd-roms, one containing 4 games as a bonus. This special Electronic Arts cd rom contained Wing Commander 2 and Strike Commander (both by Origin), Syndicate (by Bullfrog), and Ultima 8 (by .... I forgot. It was either Origin again or Lord British Prod.)

All 4 are top DOS gaming experience. I bought my own DOS games afterwards, and none can compete with these Original 4. Now I admit, to this day, I couldn't tell if the games are legal, but they looked like legal. It came with a manual for each game. Did anyone ever play Syndicate (since WC is already beaten to death)?

I completely forgot about this one...(don't know how) Jump 'n Bump. Pure gold.
Play it against your friends(be carefull not to win too much, people get pissed off easily). It's free, it works on windows (newer versions) and you can d/l it here. A must have, great fun, I guarantee! ( or your money back )

Wing Commander I (I have the original box and manual )
Commander Keen (it's abandonware now)
Comanche (my dad was always playing that on our 33mhz )
Paganitzu (also abandonware)
Jump Man!! (I know, it was C64, but I think there's a free dos version on the internet somewhere, too)

Oh, oh, Flashback - it was on the Amiga. I could never do the first jump ANd the intro rocked.

How about Cannon Fodder?

Amigas ruled.

Does anyone remember "Walker" - it was the precurser to Mech Games. I loved it cos there were great voices saying "DIE! Scumbag!".
And you got to shoot little men. With a chaingun. Extreme fun. Jeez, I now am craving it

Anyone know where to download a ROM for walker????

Now I'm getting loads of memories - nearly killing my Amiga cos it wouldn't do 128 colors. Deluxe Paint. OctaMED (Yaay!), Workbench, and anyone remember XJ220 Challenge?
How about Alien Breed (i think).
God that seems so old. And the Icons could be any size you want. Oh - remember - you were allowed to switch it off whenever! Wow!

Aha - now I think, does anyone remember sensible soccer? - I prefer that to FIFA - way more playable. That truly did rock.

I want my Amiga!!!!!!!
But it broke. Boo hoo. :'(
