Johnny English is a good movie but if you want something funy Jackass the Movie is the best.

I ruled out Jackass. It's a movie from idiots, by idiots, for idiots. I am usually a nice guy, but I seriously hope that one day they get too far and get themselves killed, prerefably in a seriously horrible manner, just to highlight my point. A friend of a friend of mine broke both ankles trying one of their skateboarding stunt. Not funny . Teenagers are already stupid enough without a "cool" tv show providing endless supply of moronic stunts.

Sorry about your friend same thing happened to one of my friends to, after pulling one of the stunts he finished in hospital, but I think you should go with Johnny English because it will be comedy that will make you laugh through whole movie. I did not see the movie but it should be blow out because main actor is Rowan Atkinson or known as Mr. Bean and just the the way he looks and acts will make you laugh.

Shanghai Knights rocks, a real funny film with some good kung fu and the fittest asian bird ive EVER seen on celuloid. A good enough story with some great jokes in it although VERY heavy on the british steriotypes, dont go to see something about victorian britain

Dreamcatcher - havent seen it although the trailer makes it look like ass and i dont wanna see it. the only problem is that the animatrix's Final flight of the osiris is show with it so i will end up seeing it. Dont see this film

Johnny English - Could be funny, i dunno though, Rowan Atkinson stopped being funnt the second the americans got hold of the Mr Bean franchise. I think the goofy secret agent idea has been done to death but its harmless slapstick fun, and who knows, he could be good in this one (10 bonus points if someone can tell me which bond film Rowan Atkinson has been in)

The Recruit - Great film, conspiracy thriller deely with super cool colin farrel in. Worth seeing because theres a fit bird in it and CIA spy stuff. A boys film to the max but a slightly transparrent plot. Watch so you can think to yourself...i could do that. If youve seen Spy Game, you'll know what to expect...its VERY similar

of the four, i'd see Shanghai Knights or The Recruit the final choice is yours

If I remember Dreamcatcher is a Stephen King novel about someplace in the woods in America that has the magnetic poles or something warped? Causing wierd stuff. I think..

Saw Johnny English and Jackass. The latter sux. JE is so-so: typical subtle British humor (no offense) - funny, weird, predictable. Still thinking if it's worth seeing Recruit - I'm kinda sick and tired of all those super extra cool secret service special agent stuff (unless it's a parody). Speaking of Dreamcatcher - dunno. Can tell ya when (and if) I see it. I noticed that viewers' comments in most cases are more helpful that official film sites - nothing more than boasting there.

I saw Shanghai Knights....

Although I liked the movie (And every other Jackie Chan Movie), they appeared to run the same jokes as the first one. Much like Rush Hour 2.

I have not seen the other ones mentioned on the list, because they are not a genre I personally find appealing.

As for Mr. Atkinson...Loved him in B-Adder....But wasn't so hot on him as Mr. Bean...Would rather watch Faulty Towers, Are you being served....and of course....Monty Python's Flying Circus

I am waiting until May for my next movie trip....Matix: Reloaded...My company may take us to see it...They took us to see Star Wars Ep 2 and Star Trek Nemesis since I started working here.
