You must be up to the bit where you have to accept storyline missions. Ok, you cannot get any other new weapons other than the one's the Order provides on either Battleship Osiris or Planet Toledo.

I remember at some point along the story line, you'll end up at Bruchsal Base in the Frankfurt System. (that's the base where the Sunslayer Torpedo and Borderword Stilleto is sold, but only available at a higher levels)
However, you'll still be able to buy the weapons that will fit your ship there.
Those weapons are some of the most powerful available although they will also eat up energy. I've used the Lugars from that base with better results than Order weapons.
So, if you monitor you energy usage..they're very effective and can carry you through the remainder of the story.
