Stop AI using Nanobots in Discovery mod?

Well I downloaded the Discovery mod and I've found that doing your average mission with it installed is tedious- the ships are impossible to fire at and it takes ages to kill them. I tried reinstalling FL but that just stopped the game working. I was wondering then, how can I keep discovery, but change if the AI use nanobots/shield batteries?

Paths to the correct file and how to edit it would be much appreciated.

Just remove these two lines in loadouts.ini for every ship, EXECPT the player loadouts.

cargo = ge_s_battery_01, #
cargo = ge_s_repair_01, #

But first you have to turn off the mod, and you edit the MOD not the game.
Mods are located in C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods

Thanks, I spent a while doing that and it seemed to work fine, but it seems getting over the net worth for the next level isn't working, I've decided to delete FLMM and FL fully. Hopefully the reinstall will fix all these problems...
