Ambiences

How do you get newly created fields to have the ambience sounds in them

Post Tue Nov 23, 2004 5:58 pm

haven't done it before but you put Music = zone_nebula_crow in the zone

next (i think)

open ambience_sounds.ini in audio

and add:
[Sound (don't forget the ending [)
nickname = zone_field_mine
type = ambience
file = audio\sounds\ambiences\zone_field_mine.wav(location of file)
attenuation = -3

and it "should " work

but like i said i haven't done it

Actually...
The best way to find out...

Look at the Br01.ini file.

It's got a bunch of them:
[zone
nickname = Zone_Br01_Southampton_debris_field
(I deleted the zone's data)
Music = zone_field_debris

[zone
nickname = Zone_Br01_Devon_rock_asteroid_field
(I deleted the zone's data)
Music = zone_field_asteroid_rock

To change the system's music, edit:
[Music
space = music_br_space
danger = music_br_danger
battle = music_br_battle

Very simple, actually!

Watch your 6!
