I always felt bad for Trent at the end -- he dosent seem to hook up with Juni -- the end kinda just leaves you hanging

On the other hand I really didnt need all the " icky quasi romantic veiled commentary of the rated m stuff " thought some hot dancers in the bar would have been interesting -- kinda back ground

and yet the whole concept of some teen getting all hot and bother by some cartoon T & A well weve reached back towards the Icky concept

Yeah, I remember what that was like when I was in my youth...
homones going crazy...
The sears catalog was a turn on even.

Hey, im sure theres a mod to make it AO, not that i would ever use that, ughQ!!!/

Another question is, Any idea what a dom-kavash ship looks like? Not like nomads im sure.

Post Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:43 pm

I considered the "Mapping Crystal" that Trent was hauling around with him...
the one the Nomads wanted so badly, they blew up FP7 for it.
It's color and texture.
So, I created a Domkavash Flagship and VHF based upon that crystaline color pattern.
They had to look "outside the box" different from all the other ships.
So, after a few redo's, I came up with this...."Flagship"

From the screenshot, it doesn't look like much. But when you see it "live" and in game, it has a "sparkling" texture to it....like it's coated with glitter.
The VHF is much smaller and compact.

I like it. However, I think it needs a bit more metal. The artifact symbol was metal. Maybe if it is retextured with large pieces of crystal?

Actually, the artifact itself is a "Crystaline" form. This ship is so
densely covered with it, that this technique of textuing is what gave
the ship it's glittering appearance.
Metallic textures in my way of thinking here would be too
"colonial" and therefore "primitive" for this one. So this is why
I developed the "crystal" texture for it.
I got the "glitter" appearance by mapping the texture onto the surface, then scaling it way off the chart. (like 1000:1)

I meant like making it out of gold. Maybe a retexture of teh Z VLF fighter?

Gold happens to be a part of that Crystal texture.
Here it is!

One slightly irritating thing about the story line is when after breezing through an easy mission early in the game, Juni or King say something like "That was close".

If you were in something like he was, would you write that in your diary/neural net log? I definetely would because it is life threatening.

So the plot thickens
