lol bejay.... if its a bug thats staying... then I have to ask why allow the player to buy a ship they can't use lol

actually i read thru the forum threads and it says to blow stations to hell and back if you have that trouble lol

finally beat the sp mode game in 3.50 ... 27 hours game time total... and now searching thru all the different systems games saying i have gone to 38 systems so far and I still haven't gone thru every system

btw love paradise system, and may kicking butt in the efa system and making millions lol

well done to the designers, testers and bug posters that have helped to create a incerdible game

I need help with a freelancer Mod
I am running Flrebalance V3.50 single player regular campain. After i finish all 13 missions and start working for money to buy a better ship,i start crashing back to my desktop and windows sends an error report. In my application error log i get an event- source freelancer cannot be found - eventID- 1000 applicant ion failure frelancer.exe 3.50.1223.11 in server.dll 1.0.1254.11 at offset 00017f38... and event 1001 source freelancer cannot be found. I am new at this and sure could some help. Also i need to know if i should be running Flrebalance Mod v3.30 with mod v3.50

Hi Colt44, No you do not run 3.30 with 3.5 that is something left over in the readme file from the earlier version. All you need is the SDK 1.3 applied first then the main 3.5 mod and then apply the patch that changes the exe to 3.5 and fixes a couple bugs.Hope that helps fix the errors you are having

I have a problem with using fl.datastorm 3.91 together with your mod... Im currently flying the sabre xr with mass proton warp guns and I would like to find out whether there are better weapons/ships and where you can find them but somehow the program doesn't show some of the new systems - like carolin e.g - and neither the new ships/weapons... what can I dew?

Been a while since I visited. Long story short, haven't actually reinstalled Freelancer, but glad to see Rebalance is still kicking. Btw that dude posting about looking for the new stuff had a good suggestion. I recommend a spoiler readme document listing ALL the changes / inclusions - although I *thought* this was always included in the Rebalance download.

Hi. I have a problem playing the single player campaign mode after installing rebalance v3.50 using flmm v1.31. When I go into formation with USV Brandt on first mission all the ships in the group just stop (speed indicated is 0) and then I can't do anything. This was with a fresh install of freelancer. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? Thanks.

every time i go to unpack 3.50 into flmm it says it unpacked fine and then another window pops up stating there was a problem. the mod doesnt even show up on the menu to activate it, is there a fix and does anyone els have the same problem?

yeah, i got a problem with 3.5 during the Brandt convoy with king. it completely freezes up when i get into formation with the Brandt. anything out there to fix that?

Warrior what version of FLMM are you using, if it's 1.4 then uninstall it as it's still a beta and has a couple of bugs, if it's 1.31 then uninstall/reinstall it and see if that helps as sometimes things can become a little corrupt and need cleaned out.

@ everybody else, what do you expect, the mods a kitbash of most of the other good mods( and most of the bad), tweeked just enough to make it run most times and then released. Like the last version 3.5 beta 3 (the crash fest) this version is just as buggy and should probably be removed from circulation just as the beta 3 was.

I AM THRILLED WITH THIS SHIP! tip for the ones that play sp and they are level 3-8: try the Starhound Colonial Viper with the Laser-Torpedo guns (fly it from exterior). It is the fast-turn i ever had tryed. good damage: 4x 200 x 200. perfect balance power/guns, starts like a roket , blasts everything. And later u can equip it with carg ion heavy-guns(requesting a better power plant). enjoy!

Well...some people have it working...why not me too? lol. so i take that there is a legitimate fix for the Brandt mission....that blows cuz i deleted the good Rebalance mod i had when i DL this one....

Hey guys,

Any future patches will be provided by the original "coder" of the Mod. If you're having troubles with certain aspects of the mod, I'd suggest you wipe everything, including your save files, and your now nuked FL install, since Rebalance 3.50 leaves all kinds of stuff behind, even when it's deactivated by FLMM. Then reinstall Freelancer, apply SDK 1.3, and activate FLRebalance v3.50, then apply its patch.

This is all I have to say about this Mod, other than good luck avoiding crashes and other problems. It's early Alpha quality at best, and ridden with bugs. Ro9ue, Bejaymac and I at one time tried to rebuild the mod (unsuccessfully). It just has too many problems, and is too hacked-together to be easily or even with reasonable difficulty, rebuilt from scratch. The worst part is this used to be my favorite Mod, too. I'm disappointed to say the least.

To MD:
If you do want help fixing the Mod, please let me know, I'm more than happy to help. But you have to be willing to communicate and take advice.

In essence, use the mod at your own risk.


Please do not ask me to provide support, I won't. I apologize for this, but it is necessary.
