I don't understand your question. SL is a prequel to FL - or rather FL is a sequel to SL . That is official. Yes something (many things) could fit in between the two's storylines. There are 100 years gap between the two.

Actually, there are very few things from FL that talk about SL, which is surprising, considering that they "will never forget." Some things that were in SL are simply gone 900 years later. Things like cloaking. Also, jumping and warping were replaced with cruise, which takes forever to get anywhere.

So far, the only mentions of what took place 800 years before FL are the intro and a news report I once saw that claims that two certain groups of pirates are descendants of the lost Hispania .

For want of a better place to spoil, it's my recollection that the cloaking devices possessed by the Rheinland ships appeared quite newly, and under not-so-normal circumstances. Two possibilities:

-The Nomads invented the technology and gave it to the Rheinlanders
-Rheinland was already developing the technology and the Nomads helped them along

I doubt it was anything other than one of those, and probably the former. I think Juni once said something about how the technology had failed in experiment, though it's been 8 months so give me a break if she didn't, lol.
Although it doesn't seem likely that the sleeper ships were carrying the technology, does it? Maybe in blueprint form, perhaps, but the files could have degraded on the trip.

Anyway, I'd like a Starlancer 2. Instead of being so Freelancer-orientated, I'd probably just like them to try and cover another period of the war, maybe, mid-way through. It'd help build up a more in-depth history, I think, if they covered as much of the major events of the war as they could.

Perhaps the resources just weren't available to produce a viable cloaking device in Sirius...or sensors may have advanced to a point that rendered the old SL cloaks(they are at least 900-1000 years old, remember) useless. Either way, the Nomads had to put in their 2 cents to give humanity a cloak that worked using materials and power supplies found in Sirius.
