Last Hope : FinalStand Thread

This mod is part 1 of 2. Half of the factions in this part will have their own faction equipment.

This newest version will have -

All bribes will be removed. This will pervent the game from being very easy by just paying some NPC and becoming friendly. Not going to work here.

New Faction Navy/Pirate Version of equipment will be sold by high ranking stores to people with a very good rep with that faction.

There will about 6 to 12 new ships in this new version. Most will be faction issued ships.

Up to 35 new/custom weapons will be made for this new releas and Gunboat, Cruiser, and BS weapons will be made for those ships to be able to add things like more missiles and torps and anti-fighter turrets, Ion Cannons.

Capital Planet Citys like New London, will have BS spawns and their Elite fighters around the planet.

Everything besides nanos and batts take cargo space and will be listed in this way.

Loose guns = 1
missiles 1 ec. = 1
Torps 1 = 3
Nukes = 5
Large Ammo Charges 1 = 0.100000
Med. Ammo Charges 1 = 0.010000
Small Ammo Charges 1 0.001000
Items = 1
Nano bots and Batts = 0

NPC are much harder, I am using AI Deathwish by Warzog.
All Cruisers,Gunboats, Battleship armor have been set higher so that it is hard to kill them. Should take a group of 3-4 good fighters to take a fleet out if they don't get support on them.

I will be resizing all BS models, they will be much bigger and I will keep them that way if no problems arise. I am aware that making them bigger may make the textures look bad/ causes problems with them spinning around like crazy. Boo hoo!

Note also that older versions have a greater chance of crashing and newer ones have a less chance becuase in the newer ones I got to fixing the bugs.

I am taking names for weapons,ships, limited items, system planets and system names. This will be ending soon due to the fact that this version is the second to last being released!

Update! 5/21/07

New systems - 100%
New Weapons - 95% Updated \o/
New Ships - 100%
New Items - Canceled for 2nd version
Faction Ships - 100% Updated!
Real Rep Changes - 100%

The Real Rep. Changes is that now if you kill 6 or 8 NPC of that faction, you will become all the way red with them, and it takes a lot of time to gain back their trust and to earn their faction weapons. So it's almost impossible to become an all friendly account. Still being worked out a little, but it's working pretty fine for me and is a very nice add on.


All Weapons from the older versions can be bought without having a friendly rep, most new weapons made will be faction weapons. This is because there are a lot of those weapons spead out all over differnt maps(About 200 differnt bases) and it's to hard to look into every base and change the rep needed.

Changes
Kill Zone's zones re-done. Sun from 0.4 added back. "Lag? Free lag!"
Battleship guns reworked! Liberty Battleship Missle turrets replaced for guns! Kursari Gunboat missle turret replaced for gun turret.
Missions in Gamma and Alpha made almost impossible to tick off the people who kept bugging me about it.
New York Equipment dealer Cleared out, reworked what's for sell at the base.
Battleship hull been changed again, weapons on the nomad turret been changed to 1000 and changed from 1 shot a second to 1 shot every 2.3 seconds.
Changed New York Back to Normal and removed all jumpgates besides the one leading out of New Start system.


Faction ships are coming off the ground with flying colors. Really what you do is just pick the faction you want to be with and stick with that faction. Doing missions for that faction will make it much more quicker to earn that faction ship/weapons. This adds a lot to the mod then ever before.

Faction NPC ships now have a very small chance of dropping modified items. Those items will be powerful in their own way.


Fixes
New York has been cleaned out.
Killzone reworked. (Npc cut down to 40. max.)
more Base crashes fixed.

Mod is inches away from being released, the only thing that needs to be done is a bit of testing and fun time on my sweet LAN computer.

Anyone who would be interested in testing this mod can contact me and I would be glad to give you the beta.
Remember this mod is for closed LAn parties you might have with your friends. Public INternet servers are not supported at this time by Last Hope Team. However if you do run into a problem while running a public online server, please take the time to fill out a bug report to the Dev's.
