CVFC Roleplay enhancement

Hey, my friend Hahukum Konn is running a server currently that is using the XML Toolkit mod and the CVFC RP Enhancment. He's actually beta-testing a mod now that I am making based off the XML Toolkit (great piece of work there, Argh), but it's mostly the same thing so far. It's called the Phoenix RPG Server, I think.
Forget my concerns about security...
(i thought you could actually put in whatever nicknames for the bases on the clientside, but the data gets collected from the server's pilot entry anyways, really nice find I have to say again )
One thing: The client-reputation selection does not work for me...
Whatever you put in for rep_group = on the client side, it does not change the %%FACTION%% value in mpnewcharacter.fl as this value is also loaded from the newcharacter.ini...

well,the way rep-select works is that there already is a faction choosing method in the [Faction section of newcharacter.ini where pilot is also selected,however there is no way to lock a faction except how ever the storyline factions are locked - so this method is vulnerable to abuse,because you can put any group you want there(oh and if its bad,flserver ignores it,i think) so - this is important, when initial_rep = %%COMM_COSTUME%% in the server's mpnewchar.fl it's only checking the serverside - and that's the only method for locking the factions to which pilots are available.
so,the server has to enable this option because the default is the secure method

its not easy to integrate it -to- a mod, it is however an MP safe addon - using it will not crash servers that do not have it but will prevent you from creating a new character on them
servers using the CVFC mod may advertise it in their listing, or may not - best thing is to just ask around in the servers and here of course. there are also several roleplay servers using FLHook to do the same things. hope that helps a little
