Finally got it to work, the mod that is, but only after i installed the 1.4 SDK unofficial patch by buck danny! Thought normal SDK would have been enough...

@Gibbon - SDK 1.3 is enough ...

@lisak - glad you like it

@Silvik

I take your point that SDK 1.3 is enough but it wouldn't work until i put 1.4 on. Very odd but then 1.4 amends some of the singleplayer files so maybe that's it. I know you're going to say it makes no difference but it did to me lol. Top mod, great ships, love the textures, will real space lite work with this?

Good mod overall but when you go on SP to the passage to Willard station it is Impossible to go past this part of mission. The NPC ships are very hard and even with the best weps I could Kill for :~) I still couldn't make a dent in their shields or hulls. Every time the two transports got blown up before I could even kill one NPC ship. I used the best missles and weps on them 190 per hit and six weps plus two turrets on my ship (best I could buy for lvl 5). Got any ideas or perhaps a patch? I like the overall feel of the mod though good work on making this whole world work as well as it does. I have played a lot of mods over the last year or so and this one seems very well thought out and stable. I would appreciate anything you could do to help me out or just give me a suggestion other than I must be a crappy pilot etc, etc, etc, as I was one of the first to go all the way to the end in a freighter way back at the begining all I can say is I don't think that is the problem. Thanks again good effort and execution. PG

.....to scale

@pressgod - indeed, the 3rd mission is a "little" hard

1. for this mission you need at least a TIE Advanced X1 - sold on every Liberty Battleship or TIE Droid (B.Mississippi (only) - Texas System).
2. go to 6E Sector (NY System) - there are three TIE Advanced X1 fighters (patrol 27) with full load of A.Military TIE Blasters and Turrets.

that's all

I just downloaded the mod and tried to activate it but it said it couldn't be activated and at the bottom in the log it said:

Error: FLMM has determined that 'TIE Universe v2.1' won't properly activate.
Error: Unable to find dest 'archetype = li_dreadnought'(...) in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\ships\loadouts_special.ini'

Could someone help me fix this? This mod looks awesome!

@roc

1. Deactivate TIE U mod
2. Restore Backups under FLMM Tools menu
3. Install SDK (make sure in right location - actually this is why you get that error)
4. Activate TIE U mod

that's all

@gunboatbilly - glad you like it
