Tie Universe mod

Started up a server using the Tie universe mod and it works a treat, only complaint so far is that u can fly thru the battleships that have replaced the originals, try Battleship Missourri as an example. Anyway to make them solid?

I like this mod, but i have problems.
1. I got a lot of crash, when I shoot down a nomad ship.
2. Why don't loot anything the nomads in sp ?

This is gonna be a useless post but not sure about single player, in multiplayer nomads drop all sorts of stuff thats for sure

1.Well ..., indeed I noticed that (game crashing in FP7 system). The problem is formation of Nomad Battleships. I'll try to fix this in next version.
2.Nomads drop theyr scanners, thrusters and armours. For armours you must have
at least lvl 10 (I think). After lvl 16 they drops Nomad Gun.

Great mod, but I have a suggestion: maybe putting some tie or x-wings for sale in systems other than Liberty. Playing SP with it is great, until you get to Bretonia. I stupidly sold my lovely tie interceptor to get rid of the bounty hunters, and the best ship available (barracuda) was a serious step down. Just my opinion, but the bounty hunters in their slave-1's seem waaaay overpowered, also.

Go to Cambridge system, near Battleship (don't remember the name) you'll find jumpgate to FP7 system. Fly to Order Shipyard. Buy a Fantom (150.000 cr). That's all.
With right equipment (at least TIE Defender Blaster) Slave1 it's not really a problem.
That's was the idea - to make game harder.

Thanks for the info. I'd made a quick foray into the freeport 7 system, but didn't last very long against all the bounty hunters

Are the TIE Interceptor and Advanced supposed to have no shields? Nice ships, but the constant hull damage gets old fast.

Bugged me for a minute too. If you have a shield generator installed when you buy a new ship you should un-equip it, then you'll be able to equip the shield, then re-equip the generator.

Don't seem to be having any problems in multiplayer, all stable and lovely, only prob is that you can fly through the replacement battleships. Silvik is aware of the problem. How bout a B and Y wing for next version? Maybe even the Death Star itself? (rubs hands feverishly...)

Come and checkout the multiplayer mod at Gibbons House of Pain server, have Tie Universe 1.1 running with Real Space Lite mod and just added Black Market mod 0.93 to the server as well. Any problems then goto the server forum for installation details!

Well ... v2.0 is finishied and now I'm in testing ...
I converted and put in game a 11 new TIE ships (thanks to Darksaber's generousity)
All 4 Major Houses ship replaced with TIE ships.
All civilian ship replaced with TIE and rebel ships.
And some changes ...
