A 40k Freelancer mod

Hi. I'm Killsteel. Me and my friends have had an idea about a mod for Freelancer. We want to make it so it is set in the Warhammer 40k universe. Unfortunately, we've never done any modding before. We would be very greatful if anyone wanted to help us with it. We need anyone with any skills watsoever, and would be greatful if an experienced mod-maker could show us how to do stuff and give us a hand. Thaks in advance....

Edit: Oh, and if no-one gives us a hand, you can expect the mod in about a year...

Go to the editing forum, and up at the top is a thread that says it has all the info you could possible want. Its not far off of the truth. It contains links to pages in two threads called newbie questions, which have a combined total of around 1600 posts dedicated to teaching people HOW to mod. Start there, and give it a go. Use the tutorials in the tutorials forum, and from there, you can build near any mod you want to
