Nice ^-^ I always love having that feeling of shootin' down futuristic spacecraft in a sleek, modern fighter jet.

Yeah, they are similar... because most fighters today are similar. Aerodynamic design and stealthiness are kinda like basic requisites for modern fighters, and getting a ship to fulfill that description means one typw of design. Other jets use that same design so they aren't blown out ofthe sky. They may change a little thing here or there, like 2 tail fins instead of one, but again, they look simlar because the desing works.
That'slike saying, "Well all humans look more or less the same (and they do, comparitively speaking: 2 eyes, 2 legs, 2 arms, a head, nose, ears, we walk by putting one foot in front of the other, think with their brains... most of 'em, anyway )" This is because our physical "design" works - why change it?
