I HAVE been working on a few different models and i have finished another jumship model and am currently working of a few different dropship designs, but i had to stop for 2 weeks as i had Exams, but now i can begin to work on it more often, and hopefully find s way to make Dropships land in the proper manner!

Hello, this mod looks MAD! one prob though, how do i get to this new system, kal narnh? wheres the jump gate/hole?

@ Hexus = The jumphole is near the New York system syn. head towards it from Planet Manhattan.

i hope to be releasing a shippack tommorrow *tho mabye a little later, i'll see how it goes) The pack will Include:
The Avar (Fighter)
The Sparrowhawk( Fighter)
The Bashkir (Fighter)
The SL-21 Sholagar (Fighter)
The CSR-V12 Corsair (Fighter - My Favourite)
The Union-C class Dropship (Dropship)
The Leopard Class Dropship (Dropship)
The Merchant Class Jumpship (Jumpship)

all these Models are done and in the game, so i am putting them into a pack to release, as well as Three New Systems (the Kul Narnh System is going to go) And also a New Faction so....watch the Main page

I'm a veteren MechWarrior and Commander and the one thing that is missing that I think that needs to added is flying mechs. Now if anyone as a pic of a ship that looks like Homer Simsson (Sorry) That kinda what I think the mech should be based on. For example of the stats for this mod useing a Atlas Assalt Mech (Fav) your would 4 Torpedos 55+ guns 5 turrets and a as heavy armor as you can get also with a uber shield and a cargo capassity of 300-1200 and a note that all weapons should be Level 10 for ease of loading up the the mech. Also make it very big but all so very controllable. Note on the 55+ guns is there way to make 5 of them only for missles? Also this ship is made for those ether played the game so much that they are bored of long battles or are just begining the game and want to cheat the first time.

Ok guys here is what you can do (mod wise) to Freelancer.

Add new ships
Add new weapons
Add new commodities
Add new factions
Add new solar systems
Add new planet models
Add new planet textures
Add new base models
Add new miscellaneous models
Add new character textures
Add names and infocards

Change textures
Change stats
Change reputation system
Change names and infocards
Change solar systems
Change markets

You CANNOT:
Change the interface of the game, it will always be a flight sim
Create factions for hire
Make Buyable bases
Make Auto-Firing Turrets
Pilot a ship on a planet
Create a control to ask for backup in a fight

There are many more, but I'm too tired to go on...I'll continue the list some other time

Hail Warriors
I loved playing MW games (most MW4 Mercs+Clan Pack) and it would be awesome to get out of the mech and into space!!!
im sorry that i cant help much with modding (i've downloaded a freeware 3D tool last week and... i don't realy get used to it...) but if you need any info i could see what i find (i also like reading BattleTech books )

and i wish you a lot of luck

I have a group that is currently working on a complete freelance universe mod to simulate as best as possible the Battletech game (Aerotech2 Rules Set).

Vanilla Freelancer is being completly erased and the battletech universe will take its place.
