Well, okay, for the last time. The mod works - and works fine on windows XP.

Now - I assume you

a) Have Freelancer Mod Manager 1.2 BETA 9

b) Have deleted all save games and also autosave

c) Installed the SDK or reinstalled FL.

d) Have downloaded and installed ALL three parts correctly

e) have ACTIVATED all three mod parts from A -> C, one after each other.

If you have, then your problem is terminal - ie, you cannot play this mod - cause there is no reason on this earth as to why it won't work. either FLMM might be corrupt, or the download might be corrupt. You can uninstall FLMM and download again from TLR adn try taht as well.

Seriously - if it doesn't work after all that, there is NOTHING we can do for you

Use FLMM then open the tools tab, and go to the save games folder.

I just got started with the game and I like a lot more than I thought I would. That being said, I got tired of getting my butt kicked whenever I was off the beaten path. (Slightly amusing, but mostly painful) So I decided to try out some mods. I have ver 1.2 of the FLMM and I have run the install for this mod. The mod gets installed, but then the mod manager tells me there is a problem with it. It pulls up mod manager but this mod is not listed as a choice, although it is in the directory. So is this a version problem with mod manager and the mod?

That's like lighting a cigarette with a cruise missle.

Install version 1.2 beta 10 - find it in downloads, or FLMM forum below these forums (new forums). Also you can find it linked from the main page on most mods.

Could you explain how to fix the "Can't Launch Without a Powerplant" issue again. I can't make sense of this ironcross editor thing to add the powerplant to the ship. Or how do I edit the mod so that the powerplant is added?

Whenever I select the anubis, Freelancer crashes.

Uninstall the mod. Download and install the SDK File. It is a clean, decoded data file for freelancer. Then reactivate the mod and try again. It happens if a file is missing, like a gun, sound, ect is missing. Try this and see what happens and post again weather it worked or you need another idea. It should work though.

nope, it doesn't work. This time even worse, it made Windows XP Professional overloaded then it rebooted itself!!!

Plus, I can't change the speed to a slower speed. 180 is too fast for regular speed. 1000 is too fast! It is equal to the tradelane speed!


Please help me!
