Titan Mod feedback

Titan mod v2.2.5 made by Eugene



The Titan Mod gives you your choice of a Titan, Sabre, Eagle, Hammerhead or an Anubis at the beginning of the storyline and your choice of What Weapon, Torpedo/Cruise Disruptor, Shield, Mine, Counter Measure, Engine Speed, Thruster Speed, Invincibility, Infinite Power and Money.



Important NOTE:
Download and than extract titanmodv225.zip
By default it will extract into the folder you downloaded titanmodv225.zip into and make a folder called titanmodv225
next install Titan mod v2-2-5 a.zip.flmod
then install Titan mod v2-2-5 b.zip.flmod
then install Titan mod v2-2-5 c.zip.flmod
into the Freelancer Mod Manager by double left clicking the mouse button on the .zip.flmod file name.

Then you can
Activate titan Mod v2.2.5 a first
Activate titan Mod v2.2.5 b second
Activate titan Mod v2.2.5 c third



Even if Titan mod b and c shows possible incompatibility, still activate it. you will see that it truly is compatible. if you do not activate a b and c and combine all three sections of Titan mod, the mod would not work.



Then you can start Freelancer from either the Freelancer Mod Manager under File or you can start Freelancer the way you normally do.

Changes from the last version:
V2.2.5
A bug removed
Instead of all of the same guns, there are options for each gun.
This is a pre version of the mod, so there are three sections.
This may work for people that had problems with the last version.
V2.2
Many bugs are removed, namely from some weapons.
More options, like Ships other than Titan, starting cash, and infinite power.
The ship selected shows up in the cinematics.
Changed reward at end of first mission to start of mission.
Rearranged modding format.
V2.1
More options , invincibility, countermeasure droppers.
Mines, torp/disrupter option and thrusters, engine speed option, both are split up into two options each to minimize confusion.
Bugs removed.
V2.0
Added five options to maximize freedom.
Removed weapons in cargo hold to make the game more fun, and less exaggerating.
V1.2
Added many more cargo, all the most powerful weapons in the Game.
Added huge amounts of cardamine.
removed bugs
V1.1
Added more cargo and combinable weapons.
Removed bugs
V1.0
Put a Titan instead of a Starflyer.
Included Nomad weapons
Placed missile turret
Included missiles for game
Added invulnerability
Put 71 batts and bots
An Advanced Thruster instead of a normal one.

The mod does not work for me. When I try to launch, the game tells me "can not launch without a powerplant" and a grey box to the same effect shows up in the upper left. What's a powerplant?

The best one yet. It downloaded easyer the the other, and gove me no problems as the first on did. Being able to pick all the weapons helps a lot. A very good work.

Edit : The ioncross character editer on link can add a powerplant if you did not choose one when you installed the mods. The power plant is what supplies the power for weapons, sheilds, and thruster. Ioncross editer
You can deactivate the mods and then reactivate them to add the powerplant. Hope this helps.

You can always go into Mod manager and edit the loadout too and add the engine.

I get a crash when accepting mission 1, don't even get as far as launching, lol. Any ideas?

I had the same problem as you did, briancn. The easiest solution if you don't want to mess with an Editor that works for my game is to choose "UNLIMITED POWER" when activating the mod and selecting the options.

After download and install,I tried in SP,still get starflier,but with all the goodies I choosed,I tried both open SP and tried playing regular game.I uninstalled and reinstalled freelancer,installed FLMM-9,but still same affect,no titan but all the goodies are there.

When you reinstall and the ship choices come up click on the ship type and highlight the Titan or which ever one you want and then complete the install. I had that problem with the first time I installed it. The second time I had titan. If you run it in the story line, when you meet juni, the pics are the flyer, but when you go to launch, the titan is there.

Hi im new and i just downloaded the Titan mod v2.2.5 and after i activate a then b then try to activate c it says that it cant find dest. max_force = 72000' can someone please help me.

@Ebowles16 It sounds like the file is corrupt. Try deactivating the mod and deleteing it and redownload it again and then reinstall it.

Ps. make sure it isn't showing a conflict with another mod.

I know you put a lot of time into this but ... whats the point? The fun of the game is to go exploring and earn better stuff like in an rpg. If you have everything right away, its pretty stupid. Your just shooting down stuff for nothing and there's no challenge whatsoever and no incentive to do fun things like find the best trade route so you can earn that ship you've been dying for. No offense, a glorified cheat isn't really a mod.

Well, here goes.

You must activate all 3 of them
You cannot run any other mod with them (so OpenSP will a)defeat the object, and b)crash the game)

If something cannot find destination, then download and install the SDK cause your files don't match the mods. This can be caused by an extra space after a word.

If that doesn't work, reinstall FL - these problems are common to EVERY mod, and you MUST FOLLOW THESE TWO METHODS.

Further more - if you crash on loading, PLEASE DELETE AUTOSAVE AND ALL SAVE GAME FILES. This can be done in FLMM, goto save game folder and delete the folders and files in there.

Next:
What is the point? Well, obviuosly you don't like it - that is fine, people and their opionions and all. Have fun playing your SP - cause your post was a)irrelavent and b)totally pointless
If you disagree, you don't have to post about it. No-one is forcing you to download and try it to put it mildy, so why are you moaning, seems you just like negative comments.

I have seen this guys scripting, and it is the LARGEST scripting i have seen. It is just under a megabyte of scripting, which means he must have taken WEEKS to put the scripting in. So be nice

I have a clean install and clean mod setup etc. Still get a crash to desktop as soon as I hit accept the first mission. Gone throughb the usual procedures but to no avail. Same issue with Titan mod v 2.2. Any suggestions? Don't have trouble with other mods.

when i try to open titan Mod v2.2.5 c this come up

Error: Unable to find dest 'max_force = 72000' in 'C:\downloads\Freelancer\data\equipment\st_equip.ini'

how do i fix

Nitro - need to make sure you files are totally clean - use the SDK and download/install that into your FL directory (when the mod is deactivated)

i cant even get a ship up
when i go through the intro (10mins boring)
i find my self with nothing no ship no weps nothing and i cant buy one because im not lvl 1 very annoying know how to fix anyone?
