Does that mean we can use speed mods in this or are we restricted to using whats in the game. As the cruise engines do need to be made faster since there are no trade lanes. And since all a new player can do to get money (with out repeatedly dying all the time) is trading, you might lose a few people to boredom. Having said that great mod by the way!

On my server(The Temple of cyrinxx) I encourage players to use the speed mod. Likely because if they want me to show them the best trade route, they have to keep up. The mod manager says there may be an issue with the speed mod, but it works fine. Warning, landing on planets with 3000k active is very tough. first, approach the planet making sure to stay clear of the surface. second, hit the "s" key when the meter is between 2k, and 1k from the docking buoy, third, hit f3, follow these instructions, and you likely won't crash n' burn.

you need to watch coming out of cloud city as you end up in the Planet's atmosphere. The first time Caught me by surprise and I died b4 I had a chance to react. Also, and I know a few people have already mentioned it, the passenger situation needs to be addressed. It's not much fun spending 5000 per passenger only to have them die just as you get out of the docking bay!
And lastly. The cargo capacity needs to be sorted out, since what the info says it has and what you actually end up with are two different things.
Case in point.
R20 states it can carry 45 units of cargo; can carry 6 battledroids
Y-Wing states it carrys 25 units of cargo; can carry 16 battledroids!
As i said, needs to be sorted out. especially since all you can do to get money is trade. So the ship needs to do what it says on the tin.. so to speak!

Concerning speed mod and trading, did you know that the longest round i have done so far only takes 18 minutes round trip? Thats not very long. Boredom only sets in because your cruising to 1 destination for 5 of those minutes instead of having to switch tradelanes and jumpgates all the time.
Another thing, dont encourage ppl to try to use the 3000 speed mod on servers that run the normal 800, as beleive it or not, it does slow the server down.
Case in point, 28 ppl on server had under 35% cpu usage and noone was moding.
Exact same settings 15 ppl on server and cpu usage was over 60% on avg. One or more ppl in the second case were modding. Get too many trying to use mods and you will start to see some very bad lag.
And anyway, even at the 800 cruise speed i can can get myself into a yv666 and 800k spare cash in about 3 1/2 hours starting from scratch.

There will be no realease date last time we had problems getting the mod to the servers so one da it will be there ...
There will be new systems I odn't know how much of the commodetis routes have been redone there is not much of an idea to do that before we get some more systems if we start fixing it now we will only need to change it for next version and then again and again...
And sure we could do that but the time before we can realease woul be much longer...

Well Lexicon, the speed mod will only affect your server if you don't activate it on your server. I have it activated on my server, and when people don't use the speed mod, it doesn't cause any extra "cpu usage" to occur. Case in point: if you think everyone wants to spend 90% of their time on my server doing trade missions rather than the fun stuff(fighting each other), you need to rethink the weight of 18 minutes per run, as opposed to the regular 2 hour maximum most people spend playing in a day. After all said, what is Star Wars without space ship fighting?
