I will actually be around till saturday before i go home to see my parents (first time in a year) so hopefully i will be able to get this into testin before i go. Am getting eager to get the mod out! LOL

I know there are lots of little things i have forgotten, like the odd base has no commodities or something - but they can find that stuff for me. It will be prices mainly i hope (crosses fingers) although having Republican shipping flying my ships has proved a real challenge! LOL

Email them over if you like, and will take a peek and put em in!

Thankyou very very very much - hope i can get you a copy as soon as the boring first changes are made!

They are the Black Specter/Slipstream, Phantom, and Raven Claw my latest
BS is a heavy fighter, Phantom is a VHF and Raven is a 4 torpedo mounted VHF.

i can give you this three tommorow.

well - despite a setback of contracting a virus, which caused repeated crashing of my comp before it even properly booted up ( i had to format HDD), the mod might be available soonish. Although it will be a little 'ragged' as i haven't had it tested that thoroughly yet. So hopefully if I hear from Wanderer it will be available/submitted soon.

p.s - I Lost EVERYTHING due to virus, and it has taken several days to get most stuff back, and alot of work to bring the version back up to date again

Erm - we should be testing from hopefully tomorrow - it was lined with probs for the past two weeks - but managed to sort it out. There might be a couple of tweaks left - but i can sort them out after peeps are trying it.

Basically - i will let you know in a when its ready - provisional is one week hence..........as long as everyone aint off playing the new ST:TC - which is bloody brilliant i have to say!

hey chips i can give you the ships tommorow it is all scripted and i have tested it and it has no problems. the only problem is the bases i created in the omicron alpha and gamma. still not finished but are working without any problem, it only lacks id's for the character population, they are all standard yet, so there will be no missions available.
BTW you can trade and buy ships and weps from that base also you can relax from those titans and sabers that are pursuing you. the base is liberty navy owned. so better have a good rep with the liberty navy or the pulse missile defence system will kick your @$$$.

Thanks for that, only problem right now is that all of a sudden FL Server is crashing the game (well server i think). THe game doesn't crash, just the server - and since i don't know about that side yet, there might be a slight delay upon this thing! lol - bugger.

*edit* - oh, and added to that, problems with the broadband connection means that a corrupted windows file has led to another formatting of my HDD which has yet again - set me back once more. At least i can now log on again. Stupid f*** computer

okay - i might actually need to recruit beta testers for this - especially if you can run a server, as my current testers are appalling at feedback. IN other words - 1 preson is telling me of FLServer problems when trying to run and connect to his own 56k server, but someone else is running it on a server with 100 capacity without any reports of anything. To be honest, i need people willing to tell me what is going on or not! So - if interested - sign up, as you might be testing by Monday! Chips

Oh - i have a nice little thing by the way. I have made a dll file called te_mod.dll which IS referred to in the freelancer.ini file. Why? Because there is a readme.txt and also another txt file in this mod. That tells you i am welcoming people to add more things, and also contains instructions on how to make a patch etc etc - so that people can add more systems, ships, weapons and other things at will without me kicking up any fuss at all. I have even provided the starting number for the dll file too - which is actuall at 458752, so poeple are encouraged to use the mod if they wish as a starting point for their own expansions etc etc!

Just thought it would be easier that way - make an expansion of 10 ships of your own, then add them in via an expansion, then release a TEMP mod expansion by so and so.
Not bad eh?

Nearly done now - can anyone host a server or something for testing purposes at all??
