Battlefleet Gothic ships a wish list of sorts

I posted this as I am wondering is there any ships from the Battlefleet Gothic universe out there. I am interested mainly in the Space Marine Fleet, most especially the Space Marine Battlebarge. This ship would be a monster if a mod exists.

Ships on wish list:

Space Marine Battlebarge:
Huge and armed to the teeth. THE battleship to own.

Dark Eldar Torture class cruiser:
A pointy fast ship and ultimate pirate ship

Hell Talon Chaos Fighter Bomber:

Void Dragon Corsair Phoenix:

Hope some one can help.

Would you happen to have some links to good images of the models you wanted built?

Thanks,

Torture:

These look complicated

If you could, from the Warhammer 40k universe, I would like to get these:

Valkyrie:

Thunderhawk Gunship:

The Thunderbolt:

Lightning: (More pictures-Thumbnails on the right of image)

The Eldar Nightwing: (More pictures-Thumbnails on the right of image)

Tau Baricuda: (More pictures-Thumbnails on the right of image)

These are very cool I think, but don't worry, I don't expect anyone to attamp all of them, that would take forever. but if anyone sees any they wouldn't mind doing I would much appreciate it.

Thank you very much!

You are right the ships are rather complicated. But I am hoping for a close resemblance rather than a exact model. Which might be impossible given the size it would have to be and the amounts of weapons.

The pictures of the Battlebarge and Torture are not great on the sites you mentioned, but might be useful as a guide.

The Forgeworld models are of definite interest and I think must be easier to make as a 3D model. I will admit I have very little skill in producing 3D models of anything. Thats why I am hoping anyone can help me.

yeah, i think the thunderhawk would make a great HF or VHF. just scale it down to a one man cockpit instead of the 2-4 man cockput, porportions are awesome. I think thats the only vehicle i dont have for my Blood Angels army.

Pictures, Pictures!

Have a look at <pre><font size=1 face=Courier><font size=1 face=Courier>http://us.games-workshop.com/40kuniverse/bfg/hobby/galleries/space_marine/strikevessels.htm </font> </font></pre>

the ships on the left are called Firestorm class Imperial frigates (Mostly guns no torpedos) And those on the right are Cobra class Imperial frigates (Mostly a toprepdo boat = 4 x torpedos = big power for small ship)

More Pictures!

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/QU ... HIC_9.html

This has space craft from different races and in varying sizes there are also weapons platforms and stations featured as well. Have a look maybe it will inspire someone to build some of them.

ANY HELP AT ALL OUT THERE??

Okay, I have started modelling up some of these ships and hopefully will have some stuff for you guys to have a look at by friday or so. I am specifically working on the Valkyrie & Thunderbolt fighters. Valkyrie will wind up a light fighter, and the thunderbolt will most likely be a heavy fighter with a nice big cargo hold.

At last some hope for this WH40K fan, who was thinking the ships would be just a dream. At least some ships are making it into model form.

To LordDrow = Looking forward to your ships! Major looking forward

Hello guys.

I haven't been using freelancer for long and i am helping a mate get some of his ideas into model form and into the game.

I have been low polygon modelling for a while now and have lots of experience modelling.

I actually came across the thread while looking for any info about adding bases to the game.

I am a fan of Warhammer 40k and have been making some high polygon models of different things one of them being an Imperial Battlecruiser.

I also decided to reduce the polygons and puy it in the game Edge of Chaos as i have made loads of Babylon 5 models for Independence War 1 and some for EOC.

The only thing was tah ttexturing this beast would have been a small problem as EOC doesn't use UV mapping and is not capable of using repetative textures.

Now i get Freelancer and see that this would be easier to texture for freelancer and stated reducing the polygons even more as the whole model (EOC version) is about 30,000 polygons so i need to get it down by quite a bit.

Anyway, i haven't been able to do anything with the model as it is on another computer with no monitor (using my laptop for this) and won't be getting another for a few weeks.

Along with work (work a system where i am away for 3 weeks and then home for 3 weeks, going away on monday to finish of my 3 week stint) and other commitments i will see about doing this model for Freelancer but may need help as we would have to create new weapons specifically for it and i don't know how to do that juts now.

Anyway there are images of the high polygon model and the EOC version (untextured) at my website under Warhammer 40k models.

If i don't answer any questions etc then it will be because i am at work.

Thanks.

to Simon_DR:
Those battlecruiser models you have on your webpage are fantastic to say the least.
Question: What models does your mate want you to do for Freelancer?

Other stuff:
Any projects I have are now on hold as I still have not got my reg code for milkshape 1.66. Beginning to think I have been tricked on that one, waiting more than a month is not funny.
Still good to see interest in 40K for freelancer and all mods welcomed and needed!
