Mmmmm..... Robotech.

I know we probably can't do the transforming thing, but I would love to see a mod for this. I'm learning to code, so would love to see what I could do, so if someone can model the ships and stuff, maybe we could be onto something here...

Good to see that Robotech is not dead! Personally I'll fly an Alpha/Beta fighter combo but then that's just me. I have no idea how to script or mod or anything, I can only help that someone out there can answer the call...

Is anyone currently working on an Robotech Mod for FreeLancer? I saw one posting but that thread seems to be dead currently. If there is a mod going please feel free to contact me and I will offer up some support for the project.

I am possibly one of the biggest fans of robotech here. One issue you would run into with that, is whether it s going to be Macross, Masters, or next gen. They all took place in different time periods, and the equipment for each series wasn't metioned in each of the others. That and you wouldn't be able to use the Hovertanks from Masters, or the Cyclones from Next Gen for obvious reasons.

If you can overcome all of that, it might be pretty cool to see.

Well right now I am sitting on the bulk of the REF Fleet already Meshed in and Textured. As for a time line and all of the sort of jazz that would be all up in the air.

If you wanted to be able to bring all of the Robotech ships into play you would have to place them at the time of the Southern Cross when the RDF was split into the REF and the new advanced VF's were made to replace the old.
Time line wise this was mentioned in the Sentiels video and also brought up in the book series.

As for favorite series it would have ot be the New Gen and the Macross coming a quick second. DYRL is still worth watching by the way along with most of the Macross Original.

In any case it would be worth attempting.
