Creating a New Faction

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to create a totally new faction ?

Thanks for the feedback

i don't think its possibile without heavy tools.
i think the factions is in the dll files.,
if you want to check there you have to download (from kazaa) or buy a dll compiler.

...this is not the right forum for such questions.
But anyway:
In principle you can add new factions without messing around with dll's or so.
Each faction is defined only in the ini's nowhere else.
So to add a new faction write the stuff into all ini's dealing with factions...ad some names and infocards and you have created a completely new faction.
To see which ini's you have to edit do a search on the complete /DATA directory...you should find 13 files

no you cant, the factions in the ini shown up like that : gb_r_st

yes true... I scaned all the INI's refering to the factions and all I found is nicknames or code names or whatever... the factions must be in the dll's...

The faction is defined in the ini's!
The names (e.g. Kusari Police) are in the dll's with this you're right.
But like all names in the game! Try to look for e.g. Planet New Berlin...you will not find it in the ini's because there it's RH01_01 or so...the real name is
in the nameresource.dll.
So if you want to create a new faction you have to do it in the ini's and when you're done give it a name by creating a new dll or adding it to the existing (dangerous).
