New Faction Mod (But need help)
Hi all....
I'm thinking of adding a new faction...called Nanoites......you can guess what kind of faction it is....small unlawfuls.....so small you can hardly see them...
this is just to give a little extra kick for those out there that find the game
lacking in challenge.....
Anyway...I'm having trouble trying to create my own ships for this group....i'm kinda slow at this, so sorry if I sound repetitive...i've created the most of the hard points for the basic stuff (weapons, turrets, torpedos, shields, hp, CMs, Mines) but i'm not sure about the rest like the pilot and wing, etc....
do i really need the others or can i just create the ship without those hardpoints..
also...if i'm creating these hardpoints do i just name them:
Hp/Revolute/Hp<TypeOfHardpoint><NumberOfHardpointOfThisType>
or
Hp/Revolute/Hp<TypeOfHardpoints><NumberOfHardpointOfAllHardpoints>
I was kinda confused about that..
OH..and one last one....can anyone direct me to a link on how to create a mat file?
If anyone can help me...i can give you a beta of a Mod that i've been working on....its basically a compilation of the helios mod, BSEMod (added a war in the Helios system), the star wars ships, the nomad battleship and fighter, the nearly invulnerable shields (just put this in so i can evaluate each of the wars without being shot down), a super nomad torpedo launcher, and gundam missiles.....but i remind you...its only a beta as i'm still trying to get a non-crashing war to work in the helios system....
Any feedback would be great....
