Just stumbled across this site a few days ago, and just saw this thread today. I've actually started on a Star Wars TC, I could use some help if anyone is interested.

Help would include modelers(perferably the one(s) who have made some of the ships already out on this site), scripters, etc. Email me or just reply here, I'll keep checking.

lol I wasn't suggesting piloting an ISD or indeed a VIc, although the Vic has a stack of concussion missles, could u imagine releasing (from memory) 80'odd missles in one volley! Think of the expense of re-fitting the ship!

One point that bears mentioning:

due to current code constraints the maximum number of weapons that any give ship can controll is around 70 or 80... I don't remember exactly... you could ask Reynen. found that out with the BS.

ah seeing progress is sooo sweet....

but is it possible to add weapons WITHOUT the weaponmodel ?

the x-wing looks quite ugly with the cutted down weaponwingtips

and the tie-like ships havent the original wingtip-positioned guns
so they are firing THROUGH their own solarpanels

if a tc or mod is done this schould be thought of

I think all you have to do is either not reference a model in the weapon code... or there may be some invisible weapons.... look at some of the wepaon platform stuff... and the REAL nomad guns.
