Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

About Anit-Cheater Tools for FLServer

hi anybody here,
first, sorry for bad english.
i have finished a beta verison for my mod, and a MP server was online. i have convert all important ini to bini and i can make sure all player can't open/edit it. but on the server a player can still cheating. they can get lot of cash, change the weapon damage(damage to NPC also player). i asked a other chinese FLServer admin and he told me that cheat maybe using memory hacking.
i want to konwn how to detecte the that cheater and aotubaned it.

the server runing
Patch 1.1(include in my mod) -- provide some cheat detection
IFSO: -- haven't cheat detection
FLHook 1.5.5 -- haven't cheat detection(im not sure, maybe i not found)
FLShell 1.3 -- cheat detection for mining

I need to install some other tool?

PS. i can't found FLAC download and server admin not allowed im use the Cheater's Death.
PS2. can i include FLHook and FLShell to my mod's server version pack?
PS3. i get a informantion for FreelancerServer.de. says "With this new mod, we officially start the testing period of our new anti-cheat solution that is now integrated within the mod. So, in the future you will no longer need FLCD." that mean FLHook will add detection for anit-cheat? i hope that is true(If they can include the w0dk4's device to the best)

hi,

currently there is only one free & good anti-cheat tool available to the public, which is Cheaters Death (you wrote you already use it).
Given that there still are cheaters on your server, it seems like it is not running correctly. Visit http://cdlite.lc-games.de/ for more help.

The anti cheat solution we are developing on HC is once again a client-side cheat detection (FLCD had become insecure and integrating anti-cheat code into Freelancer also has other advantages). Client-side detection has many advantages, but once it has been circumvented the protection tends to be NULL
Thats why you still need a good server side protection.

Of course, since FLHook is Open-Source.
What you are not allowed to do is, distribute a changed FLHook binary without the source, because doing so violates the GPL (FLHook is now a SourceForce project, licensed under the GPL)

oh thank you w0dk4, i well test Cheaters Death in local before to persuade admin to use it^^.

and other about your super device. i have download it and using it to enable\disable the super device on some ship. here is some suggestions on the Super Device.

1.Could you add a public messenger "%Somebody% has preparing activation/unactivation Super Device" then player send /*super* or /un*super* ?
2.I want a special Super Device without limit form
[*super*ing
*super*Warmup=60000
*super*Limit=60000
