Setting up a private freelancer server
Hi all. A friends and I are trying to set up a vanilla freelancer server, just to test connection speed and all the stuff for a future private server.
As I'm going to be the server, I have to make the questions:
-> There are *any* way or program to add ships, events and so on while the server it's in execution? (Something like a huge army in a system, items, etc mainly to make events) I know something about modding and I know that you have to modify LOT of stuff in the .ini files. I'm looking for some kind of admin utility that allow me to add stuff "on the fly".
-> I have downloaded the ioncross server operator. I'm from Spain, so the program doesn't work, there are any other utility to manage a server that works *fine*?
That's all for now. Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for the answers
EDIT: In addition, when I set up the server from my computer it use to crash when I, a friend or both try to connect. I'm connecting from the same computer, but we have manage to connect in other moment without any problem..
