any one what sever specs

hay what do you use to benchmark you computer. i use fraps to do all that. you would happin to know why poeple think any thing below 30fps is bad. i play halo at 15-20 without a problum. and about the Graphics card i dont think i will need it. im geting a new mobo and graphics card. a 9800 radeon with a socket 478 P4. what do you think the i will get for beanchmarks in freelancer. my computer is a copy of one of my freands (but not the hard drive for dvd drive.) he gets about 100-200fps. what did you enter for the duel Graphics cards. (i hate nvidea but o well)

well back to what the thread is about. who needs a sever spec. i can help trust me.

any other takers. im not just here to offer sever specs but system specs to. just ask i can disine a computer for you buget. (if there is one. if not i have a few words for you. you luky basterd.)

100-200fps

I assume you mean some other game besides freelancer? MS designed FL so that it is maxed at 75fps. The game simply will not run faster than that. As I remember film quality runs around 38fps.....just for a reference point.

@ Darkagent.....I am not here to flame......but don't you think you are being a bit cocky? Coming to a gaming/computer-enthusiast forum and offering to give people server specs? Don't you think that would be better left up to the guys that have been running servers for well over a year and have run across most of the Hardware, software, and FL related issues? Also how can you expect anyone to really answer much when you will not even take the time to spell correctly? If I am going to ask help plopping down several hundred if not several thousand dollars I would expect the person that is helping me to at least take the time to spell correctly and use punctuation.

well the 100-200fps is what he said i never saw it. any way as for the spelling i have dislexea so get off me. any way im just offering my advice i know a lot about sever and system specs i help a guy that runs an internet gaming cafa so i picked this stuff up. also i have tryed freelancer on a lot of diffent systems and configs so there i know a lot of the ins and outs of this stuff. im also not used to talking to people that know this stuff so i didnt know that other people here knew this stuff. so i know a grate deal of stuff about this i never told them to get this stuff or else im just offering advice for what would be better for there needs.

o one more thing film quality. what kind of film. vhs is 30fps dvd can be any were from 30-60fps. HD TV and film run about 60fps i know all about this stuff is that proof that i know a little about this stuff. maby a lot about this stuff. with fraps running a HD dvd on my computer runs about 60fps so i suppose that that is what most DVD players will run it at. there im not being coky my computer sox. any one with a good computer might get more FPS or less. can any one tell me why Lord of the rings in HD playes like a slide show? then i bring it to my moms laptop and it plays mostly smooth. that computer has a 1.5ghz centrno my computer has a 2.5celron and 64 megs on mobo her laptop has 32meg niveda chip but im not sure what one it has. it is newer so i think is not all that old. the said thing is that the laptop gets better fps then my computer. lol

2.8ghz P4

sever for about $189

that is just amazingly good price. one of my freands whats to get one and may get one soon.

Where are you at to get HD-DVD's? Last I heard the official release for HD-DVD's was going to be late 2005. I know the DVD players with DVI output are available but are true HD-DVD players? Isn't that going to be a complete new standard? Did I completely miss the release of these?

its not on a HD dvd it clames to be in HD i cant tell if there is any thing better but o well can any one tell my y it playes like a slide show. it is still better. and for the person that thinks hes smart there are tons of fps cracks out there that can disabel the limit.

its a duel layer dvd and it will not play at all in my other dvd player just on my computer. (if you can call it playing)
