Server troubles

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Server troubles

I've just finished making a small mod, turning the javelin into a machine gun that takes ammunition, and my own server is kicking me for cheating, how can I make it ignore this modification as a cheat?

you probably need to add the modification to the server's ini files as well- then they'll match your client's.

just a guess, though- I don't run a server (yet)

The client computer(mine anyway) and the server are run from the same dlls as its the same installation, so i dont think thats the problem, i'm running TNG 2.5 by the way, I am not sure if there were any modifications to the server made with this mod.

TNG v2.5 do not accept other mods, so, if you want to play your mod, deactivate TNG

Maybe thats the cause then, though my brother has the same problem on his pc, and he hasn't modified anything (outside of IONCROSS server operator). so theres no way to deactivate flservers automatic cheat recogniser? I'll be removing my mod then, thanks for your help.
