Cryogenius - some server admins are very unsure about how to publish their stats onto the web with autoupdating tools.
I was wondering if you had the time to make a quick little tutorial that tells you what you need and what to do. I know that it has one in the actual tool, but i could not follow some areas of it.
OR - for the new version.....
Perhaps an option whereby their is a window in the tool that you can enter the FTP address of the site, as well as password/name and it will take care of it automatically. Two versions - one that doesn't have the autoupdating tool included (for those who already have the software to do it with/have the FLStat before), and one that does have it. Maybe it could be an option during install - it will install the correct thing to publish info on the net, and at that point you enter the required information about the FTP site/passwords etc....but would they be able to edit this at a later date manually if necessary?
The idea is basically that it removes any admins "work" - because not all of us are fluent in computer/net terminology, and reasons as to what to do....ergo, when my admins asked me - i tried to work out what it meant....and faild miserably. Mind you - might have helped if i had an FTP location to practice on
Other stats things - any chance of a tab for "versions" so that you can select the fav version and only pull up their stats?
As you may have noticed, i know nothing about how the tool works etc, so i really dunno whether the above is possbile OR practical, but it would be handy
