Server Question

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Server Question

I'd like to run a freelancer server at a local lan event which regularly takes place, can anyone tell me of a good console program i could use to talk to the universe at regular intervals displaying messages and is there any programs to detect cheats, Ive had a good look round but so far come across nothing

I already have the Mod Manager installed.

sounds like your after ioncross`s freelancer server operator, its prob in the d/loads section here, but if not try www.ioncross.com in the software section

You Can Use The Console In The Original FLServer To Chat To The Universe But Inocross Is Much Better, You Can Send Both One Off Chat Messages And TImed Banners - Much Easier

Thxs for the help, I dloaded Ioncross and am now getting to grips with it, one tiny problem I had, THE CONSOLE MESSAGES ARE ALL IN CHINESE??

Don't know if it has anything to do with my copy of Freelancer which I bought on EBAY, but it works in English and all literature / casing supplied was in English??

LOL! I cant help you there but if you click on the help forums link at the bottom of ioncross freelancer operator then it will take you to their forums.

You're running win9x. IFSO doesn't work in win9x. You need XP or 2000.

If your running a FL server at a lan why not run a teamspeak server for it as well? Just not on the same box, as FL is CPU hungry.

Your computer needs to be turned on, it also needs to be connected to the internet and you need to have FLServer running and IONCROSS if you're going to use that aswell.

I prefer the old FLAdmin, because it is controllable over network without any Remote Desktop stuff ;-)

i use fladmin for the remote stuff (i switch everytnig else off)
and flso from ioncross because it does everything else
