FLServerAccountBrowser Tool??

I believe that FLstat is just as suitable on small servers as it is on large ones. In fact, I wrote it to run on my own server, which only has 8 players ;o) Inclusion in the Global Stats is optional...

Anyway, for the rest of you, the character editor I wrote really wasn't designed with the intent of running a sever alongside of it - it's really JUST an editor. As such, I won't ever be allowing chat to players and such. I'm limiting it to what can be done with FL files. I leave the rest of the stuff to the people already started on these projects. The reason I started the IONCROSS Freelancer Character Editor project was because I found there was a real lack of a character editor that WORKED really easily. The only ones I found on the net were difficult to use and you had to manually edit your files most of the time. Truthfully, I made the program for myself initially for use on my server and figured, what the hell, why not share a bit

The next version WILL show equipment loadouts and should make it easier to spot cheaters, in addition to a list of players that you can just choose a name from (instead of looking through all the player files for a particular name), but it won't allow for any administrative tasks like console chat and banners and crap. This is a standalone program for use with save files. Period.

Truth be told, I haven't the slightest on how to go about communicating with the FLServer software to do console chat and crap

I leave that to the true masters - I'm just gonna keep doing my thing in dickity-ass VB.

Dont worry Joe a character editor is all that's missing for smooth running of a server.

Just now I'm using a combination of guess work and experience to spot the cheats. FLStats help, but knowing what people have in there ship is as important as well.

I'd say there's plenty of admins willing to beta this if require

I agree with Pinger and server. A character editor biggest draw is identifying and keeping out modders.

i am starting to belive you guys is messing with ppl...

iv never seen a shadow of eny of the above mentioned tools !
AND i had to make me own Zonealarm Plugin that bans cheat/mod´rs
.....you guys think you have forever ....

your to late guys !
You can share or let it be ...but dont expect to get the plugin rigth away !
i think its lame to keep me and other ppl out of all this ...
if we had worked together in this ... then we never would have to use flconnection monitor at all .. my plugin works Great !

ZA no chance to buggy in its self, plus no chance my host will ever install that POS firewall. If I want a IP ban I just have to ask the ISP techs to setup a port monitor on the FL box.

But seeing the way things are going as public servers. FL won't last much longer with public Account creation, I'm thinking of making access invite only on mine.

As for no cheats, how about running your server I've not seen it since you posted you first thread then come back with the claim of no cheats.
