Aaaaaaaargh, Elite

What's going on? 5/31 and as far as I know no one can connect.

Indeed Elite shows here as 9/31 ping 219 but when trying to connect one gets
"Operation takes longer tahn expected" followed by "server went down while you were trying to connect".
Restart required ?

Now it says 6/31 for me.

Elite lists as 5/31 ping 209 at 20:52 MEST
Can connect to others server,
but Argonus is laggy with ping 786.
So playing locally .......

till cant get in.... 4;20 EST time. The server disapeared from the lists.

I'm currently looking into it..

It appears that there are some network problems in the building where the server is hosted. As I find out more I will post the news here.

Thanks akataka. As always, a reply and an update on what is going on with the best FL server around. What a reliable admin.

is it me or there's no E2 on the list?

if it is there, can u copy accounts from Elite to E2, so if one of them is full, ppl can always connect to the other one...

E2 was taken down a while ago. Check www.flserver.com.

The network connection has been restored to Elite. I am running a few maintenance processes, and it should be back on-line within an hour.

Server is backup up...

Argh, a little reboot for an update at 22:27 MEST, followed by two crashes.
Maybe restore the earlier version ?
I would love to finally dock.

Oh, by the way, wouldnt it reduce lag if the death and new-player messages would be suppressed ?

I just logged in and it was in a continuous cycle reboot for about an hour and 15 minutes. Back up now.
