24/7 Seattle Based Server Status

There seems to be no issue with "old" accounts, and the new server code. Once Elite came back, I was able to play perfectly well with my previous account. I honestly can't remember what my rank was when they chose to drop the server, but the changes couldn't have mattered much at that level. It's only a couple million to get to 38, anyways.

Rank seems based on total cash, and dynamically set, so changes in "how rank is determined" (or level breakpoints) don't really relate to any other old account variables directly. Gots the cash? Then yer THIS rank now! Not like I'm an expert on it, but that's how it seems to be behaving.

'Course, I don't MIND the reset. Heck, maybe I can play there soon. Maybe I'll be Rose Petalsniffer or something, as Hellif obviously won't pass the "genedefect name test (tm)". : P

Keep Archangel off Seattle. He is a know cheater and modder. If you want a stable and cheat free server Keep Archangel OFF THE SERVER

Alot of ppl have worked hard on your server and your just going to delete all their accounts???? wtf is the matter with you i hope noone comes back to your lame ass server again! I have 2 accounts with your server and i have spent many hours on both of them and if you delete them i will Not be coming back and i hope many other ppl do the same so you can play by yourself on your laggy pathetic server.

Do what you need to do. I personally had a lot of fun on your server and I'm looking forward to playing again when you bring it back... even if I have to start over trading in oxygen with my 2000 credits. Man that was a lot of dead Xenos...

And I haven't personally seen Archangel cheat... he's just a little crazy with the torpedoes. But either way, cheating will be less of a problem once the patch us out, right?

this doods a newb.. I would'nt play in his server again cause he'll do the same half ass stuff again when the patch comes out- just cause you got the money to host a server does'nt mean your fit to be an admin- nuff said.. anyway the patch looks far from done- it's really laggy at times and that's on da's own server

This is something I just have to say...

If you don't like how Gene runs his server, there are plenty other servers you can play on. In fact, if a huge number of you refuse to come back, that would actually be a GOOD thing. If that happens, it means the number of accounts won't go up as fast...which would help the server's stability.

Bet you never though of that.

It's not how he runs the server that ticks people off. It's the reasons he bans people for that ticks people off.

Break no rules, use no mods, use no cheats, and you can STILL easily get banned and never know why... It would be less of an issue if you could still access the server w/out getting a new FL ID (then maybe you could change yer name or something). Yet that's only a holdup for the people who play legit. The cheaters don't care, they'll just get a new ID and do it again.

GENEDEFECT,

I have no problem with your decison to start anew. I live in the San Jose area and enjoy playing on your server. I like the other players I have interact with on is server and look forward to doing so again. There is a T1 server just 20 hop from me but no ones ever there. It looks like cheaping is allow there but thats no fun.

I remember a few days ago someone was camping outside of Mannthen killing everything. I just hang around and start trackering stuff in. It was fun for a while. I had to be cariful just in case, so he would start shooting me. I am pretty sure he was cheating.

Just saw that, I will be trying to get it back online this weekend.

If things run smooth it should stay up for quite some time.

I used to play on seattle if you got to wipe the accounts wipe them. not like people couldnt gain up the money in no time. yah so you worked long and hard to get where you are so start your own server and see how many times you would have to do it.

as for the transport killing in manhatten dont think thats a cheat ive killed everything in mahatten so has alot of other ppl. i do it to help newbies out. so there not sitting there beggin for money. FREELANCER not FREELoader.

All accounts are wiped.

I have to re-route my 768k/768k DSL line to be near the Server again (was being used for Xbox Live while server was down). Should have this done late tonight or early Saturday morning.
