Just curious. Did the Elite server freak out, or did some part of the net come crashing down?

There I was on a packed server, killing the evil Hessians, when suddenly the all-powerful Sucky Connection Indicator(tm) lit up! My foes were paralyzed! And shooting them was pointless! : /

Anyhow, thought it odd, as I never got a disconnect message, just the "bad connection" flashing at me. Finally gave up and tried to re-log, but now I can't reach the server, and it's reporting that it's down to 9 players at the current moment ... very odd for this hour...
